Oxborough Parish Church and Bedingfeld Chantry Chapel

After a visit to Oxburgh Hall in Norfolk, noticed the St John the Evangelist Oxborough Parish Church , which you can visit most days of the week in the summer months . part of the church is in ruins due to a heavy storm in 1948 , which caused the 150 foot spire to collapse into the Nave of the church , luckily the Chapel was not too damaged . To-day you will see the Chancel has become the new church and the Bedingfeld family Chapel has it's own entrance . Well worth a visit to experience the romantic atmosphere of this 14 c church .
