    AWESOME! I have since 2003 owned my first original Diezel Herbert (Peter had no demarcation for the first iteration) and then I purchased Diezel Herbert Mk2.5 in 2005.
    All I can say is, in the past 21 years, I've gone through 2 expensive Marshall SL 100W -Plexis, Marshall 1987x, a Soldano 100W, VHT Pitbull, and my Herbert Mk2 in stereo with my slaved Herbert soaking on a BOSS SDE-3000EVH skools the living daylights out of them all.
    I've recorded EVH VH1 & VH2 on CH2 w/SD-1 and Friedman Golden Perl, and you couldn't tell the difference. Diezel working G12H-75 Creamback -- that's the ticket.

    Reza, great vid once again!
    Me and James Leader of Diezel UK ran the Herbert with Midcut with the Hagen. Used the Herbert to provide the lower end and then filled the mid range with the Hagen.
    Give it a try. You won't run into any phase issues. Just ground noise but man does it work!

But they are so rare in my part of the world that I have to order without trying it first. Did yours have the China made celeations? I know the cab is great for heavy stuff. • @diezelvh4133
      @diezelvh4133 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mk1 is more clear in a 3d kinda way. Mk2 is more in your face, better clean channel and more low end with a touch more grind. Mk3 doesn't seem to have as much low end as mk2, but more mid focused. All are extremely tight and clear regardless. You would have to have all of them next to each to even notice a difference. They're all great. Anyone of them would do.

      @@diezelvh4133 I have the mk1 and it's been my main amp for years (almost a decade now) and I feel that as I grow the more I appreciate what it does. I have it set up more mid focused and slightly neutral on all the channels so the characteristics comeout more. It's funny how my Les Paul gets it sounding very classic/hard rock & punk but at the same time if I plug in a 7 string or a guitar with hotter pickups it transforms into a metal monster. I really love the cleans, I have a fender blues deluxe and fender twin amp and it out shines both easily.

    Hey Reza, what amp do you think is more suited for Nu-Metal, The Herbert or the VH4? I am leaning towards the Herbert because of the clean tone, but I wanna know which one is great for huge, thick chords with a lot of clarity. I'm not sure which one is the tighter of the two, some say the VH4, some say the Herbert (tuning between Drop C and A# BTW, not sure if that affects the outcome). I am aware that the VH4 will probably cut a little better, but I am generally NOT somebody that is gonna use the mid-cut on the Herbert, so keep that in mind.
