The Vital Signs defined music and popular culture like no other band ever will. The Vital Signs were more than a music band, they defined a whole generation in time and space, they were a soundtrack of a whole generation.
The class of 80s/90s is still dominent if v compare with recent singers ...from one extreme to another ....jj bhai love you ..i have changed myself too and on rah e huq (alhumdulilah) shahi bhai stay blessed .
The only regret while seeing such video is that Vital Signs performed in early days of my childhood and I couldn't attend it back then. Another one is that I never got to meet Junaid Jamshed but every song sung by him serves as a daily musical dose for my life. Music of Vital Signs and Junaid Jamshed have a very central place in my heart. Breathing in VS, since forever!! Mein apnay saray geet tumhein de jaon ga!! Mujhe marnay na dena. And thus Junaid Jamshed will forever remain alive in the hearts of his fans! May his soul rest in peace. Ameen
I know exactly what you mean. I saw JJ perform VS songs in the US but he was solo. I met him at a religious event few years back and had a brief conversation with him. He told me I had great taste in music. Haha. May he RIP.

What a music VS created back then. I was lucky to attend their few concerts and it was so much fun, families used to come. Fights in the crowds as well. But people loved them and one of them used to drive Pajero and at the end of the concert people used to hang on his Pajero.
Great nations do their utmost best to preserve, revere and cherish their cultural capital. The West continuously re-releases The Beatles to keep the band and their music alive to the new generation. Pakistan has no interest in re-releasing Vital Signs to keep the band and their music alive to the new generation.

i had experimented music instruments way bsck in the early 90’s, after my first visit in kashmir. it was only then i started to listen to nazia hassan, and then came along vital signs. my first keyboard was a yamaha or korg after arriving bsck to uk in 93. i was very possessed in becoming the new band back then, but didn’t have clue how to write music. fast forward 2016, i’ve signed up with sony atv and and become a bs i orb for writing music , such as ksi, kenya west etc. thanks to you brother ( vital signs)

Could be better. The music is prerecorded and running in the background with improvisation. Junaid is signing live. The guitar piece in this song was written by Assad. In fact Assad completely up lifted this song with his guitar piece.
Thank you for correcting the information about the venue, Shahi bhai. I'm curious though, did Vital Signs ever perform at Apollo Hammersmith? That would be such an honor as Hammersmith hosted greats like Bruce Springsteen!

@@FunrisePk It's not all too uncommon for bands to reincarnate themselves after the demise of a key member. Of course, Vital Signs can never be the same without their frontman, but that doesn't preclude the possibility of an official VS reunion of sorts. Queen did quite a few gigs and released new material after the tragic demise of Freddy Mercury. In the case of VS, this is perhaps wishful thinking, but I at least hope Shahi bhai is reading the comments.
Why does Salman Ahmed claim that he wrote the song with you , JJ and Rohail ?. As far as i understand Nusrat was there when this song was released/written. Can you please give us the correct story?
