Great review. For the price, I agree with you on getting a brighter but less flexible projector. 1k lumens isn't enough to do a lot unless you have very little ambient lighting. For that level of luminosity, I would get a few smaller, cheaper units.
Hi, thanks for the review. One thing missing when comparing to the older projector is bulb tech. This is an LED projector. Apart from long life, it will also run cooler/quieter and won't dim (and keep dimming) after a few hundred hours like older bulb tech does.
Hey great videos!! Quick question I purchased the jack o lantern jamboree and while it looks good on my pumpkins it’s bothering me that I can still see the outline of the screen in the background. Is there a way to get rid of this? Or is my projector just to bright? Thanks again and keep up the amazing videos!!
Hey Josh, thanks for watching! It could be a couple of different things but my first thought is that your projector is not producing a true black which is why you see the outline of the screen. This is typical for many budget projectors. A workaround is to place a piece of paper or something similar around the lens with a feathered edge to make the stark outline of the screen as unnoticeable as possible. AtmosFX has a good tutorial on this here - th-cam.com/video/xIMHbLr6luw/w-d-xo.html
Hey Debra, thanks for watching! I don't have any experience with using external batteries for projectors. Any projector I need to be battery powered, I go with Aaxa Technologies.
Great video. As a home haunter myself unless a projector has a direct on feature so that upon receiving power from my smart switch it automatically turns on and plays my scene every day its almost useless. Unless you are just using a projection on Halloween an Automatic on an play feature is needed to avoid manual input every day you use the scene. The only projector ive found is the Epson EMP-82. Thanks for this and hopefully companies will catch on to what us Home Haunters really need.

Hey Ed, thanks for watching! Totally agree with you.

Good point! Definitely a great thing to keep in mind.

I used the AtmosFX hollusion material. I have a link to it listed in the description.
What would you recommend for a battery backup for projectors ?

Thanks for watching! I don't disagree. That is one of the reasons I love my Optoma GT1080.
