This resonated with me. The blood sweat and tears I’ve been thru for the life I have today (all through property purchases over 35 years) no one should comment unless they’ve done this. Good on you you deserve everything and more! Just keep going! 🙌🏻
The real problem is that people are ok with billionaires having financial freedom, but when everyday mums and dads achieve financial freedom, and they don’t, people are no longer ok with it! When I purchased my PPOR in Sydney, people who could probably afford it more than I could didn’t make offers because they didn’t want to go through the trouble of painting some walls or changing the carpet. People keep waiting for the market to crash so they can buy the perfect magazine home - which will never happen. In 10 years, they’ll still be waiting and complaining! I’m now on my journey to buy my first investment property in Australia, and as an immigrant woman, I can say I worked quite hard for it! Everyone loves to point out people’s highs, but no one was cleaning toilets with me when I first came to Australia. I also have an investment property in my hometown in Brazil, and over the years, I’ve been able to provide an affordable home for a few young families in a safe environment while they save money to buy their own place one day. It’s a win-win for both parties.
An interesting take. I've been investing in property for over 20 years and haven't reached these heights and have sacrificed as much. Sam epitomizes what hard work and understanding the game can achieve. I believe this is what the post was all about as his agency may bring that to you as a client (I am not a client so can't confirm). However, this game impacts lives and it is impossible for every person to have multiple investment properties. Sam is just a player in the game and a good one at that, but does not create the rules of the game. That's the government/s role. It would be great to see Sam continue to do what he is good at (everyone loves watching the best do what they're best at) but doing some more ultruistic endeavors with the success. That is what will separate the legacy of a true legend and someone who some posters believe is greedy. Something tells me there is a lot more in stall for Sam being so young and having such drive and passion.
Posting a video on a yacht bragging about how many investment properties you have during a time when people generally cannot afford their own PPOR. Does this.. 1. Inspire most people who are uneducated on investing to care and want to invest in property and achieve the multiple property dream. 2. Anger majority of hard working Australians on lower incomes trying to purchase only the family home. 3. Make viral videos which you intended to be, and also could possibly influence law changes around negative gearing and CGT discounts to deter multiple property ownership. Flexing your Assets is like a Female gym influencer flexing her Ass. No gains, no inspiration.
