Harassment and an unwarranted shooting is more likely/ common to involve Us colored / BLACK folks, than any other group/ demographic… and instantly Philando Castile came to mind, and he was a whole school teacher. Yes, what his son did is totally unacceptable and phucked up! However, the police should’ve told him last night the details, specifically the fact, the cop was seated inside his own vehicle, when deleted by his son. He should’ve been told his son was not provoked, or in a life death situation… His son went hunting, nothing more nothing less, but he’s not a victim. The news Guy should’ve corrected, and said everything I just stated, because NO sir your son isn’t a good guy/ kid, and he wasn’t provoked… Police knew he was dead last night, but yet they didn’t even tell the man… Thats why he’s looking for an excuse/ justification… because it doesn’t make sense to him, or anyone why he did it, but the news about his death and all details, should’ve came from them!
Yep that one comment shows you exactly how he raised his boy. Dad didn’t say one thing about how remorseful he feels about the officer, his son killed in cold blood.
There are cops who have wrongfully killed people. That being said, it does not seem to apply in this case and you have to consider, he didn't have much detail at the time of this interview.

He probably started losing it and turned to a fringe Muslim-based belief system (like Mormonism is to Christianity etc) as a way to cope, since a lot of people turn to religion in tough times, but the fringe group probably didn't do wonders for his mental health.
Islam is evil

@@UltimateTViptvI agree that he switched to find answers to his problems. Unfortunately, Christianity has become weakened and the Gospel of Christ diluted by many whom call themselves Shepeard. If he would have been guided correctly by those whom claim that Christ Jesus has called them to leadership, he would have had a better chance at choosing a hard path that is narrow, but good, rather than a wide road filled with so many options.
People have short memories in the United States 😅, 4 officers and one dart officer were shot by the formal police chief son right here in Dallas . Did anyone challenge his character as a parent , so disrespectful questions
Agreed 💯
I don't think it was fair that the reporters were asking him questions about something he didn't know about. The reporters knew his son walked up and killed the officer in a police suv. This father has no idea that happened. He seems to just be speculating why his son shot an officer and was on the run. Wondering if he was provoked. If the reporters informed him what they knew, and what the Chief revealed today.. I do think the father would have gave a different answer. Or would have been at a loss for words.
Exactly, the officers knew that man was deceased when they search his home the night it happened, but he learned from his brother the next day 🤧… everything should’ve came from them to him
The son was under demonic control.
He did it. This man in denial. I’m done watching him talk. His child took a life. Condolences to the officers family .
Can't blame dad for what his grown son did...he's probably just as shocked as everyone else. He's grieving too

“His behavior had changed. “He thought someone was after him.” “He had lost his job.” I wonder what happened to cause him to lose his job. I think his former employer might provide some valuable insight.
Impressed with fathers composure here. So sad. Mental health is the most pressing crisis in the US right now. When will we dedicate the funding and time to the crisis?
He's relieved he doesn't have to deal with his son anymore.

You can raise your children but, at some point they are going to do what they want and not what you want them to do. That father is in pain and shock. He didn’t commit a crime. His son did.
This is exactly like that incident back in 2016 where in the same city, some ex US ARMY dude targeted police officers. In that incident, 5 officers were shot dead, and some others were injured.
I love this man for having the fortitude to do this interview and speaking so confidently about his son. He clearly believes in him and apparently had had no reason not to before this event. My heart goes out to him.
I'm sorry this father lost his son. Regardless of what his son did, that's still a parent who has lost a son.
Even tho the father did nothing I still didn't hear him say that he's sorry to the family of these officers. Sad
I sympathized with him until the "Police are killing black kids all the time" part. The officer who was killed is black and was a teacher in the black community before that. Im tired of these excuses.

He was already crazy and the dad was shirking his responsibilities.
@@SuccessfulladiesSoftLife ok well he should have got help beforehand
The father has a good heart. He was able to look at all sides and speak Truth. We bring up our children but society effects them. My father was a fallen police officer 50 years ago. But times are so different and murky now.
What gives you the impression he has a good heart, because he is old and soft spoken??
@@SuccessfulladiesSoftLife I think I explained it. What did I say? Did I say anything about how he looked or what his voice sounds like. If the world would stay on topic, we would be better.
I feel for the dad actually. North America is a toxic place.
No, just the USA is toxic. Canada and Mexico don't suffer so much oppression from police like POC in the US.
You are showing your ignorance
@mcabgirl not really. How can you say the USA isn't toxic? Our president is literally brain dead. You know what. You're right. The country is fine. Nothing bad is happening.
The problem is social media. It’s out pushing content hyperbolic and dividing in nature. The dad said it himself, .. “cops out here kylling 🟤kids all the time.” Statistically, that’s not true, but when it does happen it’s all over the news and the media milks it for every last drop. The propaganda is out there to break down our society every second from apps like T T and I G . It’s nut because you literally have to comment in code because TH-cam will also delete your c omment if you say such things.
@@taylorpeay8991 The USA is the only chance for millions of people to have a better life and they are streaming across the border everyday to enrich us with their vibrant cultures. If it was so toxic why would those millions risk their safety to come here.
Too bad for the officer, the suspect, and his dad.
Lousy situation, all the way around.
I appreciate what the dad was saying, but after he said cops are shooting black kids… that ruined it.
Right, I think he was just trying to find some answer to what happened, but contrary to where he's getting his statistics from, he doesn't have it right.
I agree. The police officer was also black.
The biggest killers of black men are black men.
The news Guy should’ve corrected, and said everything I just stated, because NO sir your son isn’t a good guy/ kid, and he wasn’t provoked…
Police knew he was dead last night, but yet they didn’t even tell the man… Thats why he’s looking for an excuse/ justification… because it doesn’t make sense to him, or anyone why he did it, but the news about his death and all details, should’ve came from them!
This dude did his responsibility and raised the child as a father, if the kids turns into criminal or someone violent it’s not the father’s fault
Life can break anyone, it's an unfortunate situation for everyone involved. Seems like the young man just crashed out and gave up and decided to hurt an officer for no reason.
How can you blame a parent for the actions of their grown child! WTF
Dad said, "Police are killing black kids all the time". This way of thinking is the problem.

The father seems like a good man..this is so sad
This interview was wrong. The questions they asked, they wanted to make him feel guilty about his son killing a cop. How can you even do that. His son is dead as well. You all want sympathy so bad for your own mistakes, we when do it to our own, you're quick to dig up every disdain possible. Even my own people, blinded by the lights. They tried to trick him, and they tried to make him feel bad. Because it's a black cop now the community wants to cry out. Where were you when the community was already crying out. No one should lose their life, but who's the villain, and who's the hero?
A simple research on the black on black violence in America will show you that the REAL true enemy towards your community is IN FACT YOURSELVES. Most destructive, violent, and dangerous race in the country. Crime rates are beyond terrible. Grow up. No one wants sympathy from you guys. Yall are the one constantly playing victim throwing fits. No one ever taught yall how to act like grown adults
