The real palace was torched to ground by Xiangyu as he wanted to revenge what Qin did to Chu kingdom in the past.

terracotta army shows what the Chian is about. They have most advanced civilization, yet they are to "protect China", not to invade other nations like the US lead by anglosaxoon.
Nah, you actually got that wrong bro. I know ur feeling over hype about China. But if visited Heng Dian, where they built exact life size replica of Qin palace, Forbidden City, Ming palace, then you can see the clear difference of China dynasty characteristic. While most of medieval China palace embroiled with bright color, golden dragon, lion statues to represent harmonious, prosperity, and peace, the Qin is on different level. The palace gate alone was freaking intimidating, with 2 large black creature (could be dragon) and its eyes looking at you. There are many others intimidating creatures crafting on every wall, painted in dark to resemble Qin's color. The message is pretty clear. We are Qin! Obey or we will destroy you! Modern movies culture picturing Qin with slogans of "Unification", while this is partially correct the main slogan of Qin was "滅" a total annihilation. This is why despite millions of their own people's death to unify the other 6 kingdoms, Qin barely lasted 70 years. The next Dynasty under Liubang promoted harmonious, thus lasted 4 centuries.
Qin is intimidating or not, it is totally different from Anglo Saxon (British) where their origin is "pirate" - They raid other land and steal whatever they could. That is in their blood. China never had that. Mongolian was close to Anglo Saxon. They do not care about territory, but raid and steal.... Chinese kingdom is based on territory, not stealing people's wealth.
@@ericwong4213 Not exactly. Qin Shihuang only ruled for more than ten years, not 70 years, but he was the first emperor to achieve the complete reunification of China. His greatest contribution was not only to unify China, but also to invent the most advanced and core governance system, which lasted until the demise of the Qing Dynasty.
i am a Chinese from xi’an city, another performance you could watch.“The Chang’en Ge” is a spectacular performance in Xi’an that vividly brings to life the ancient Chinese epic of love and tragedy. Set against the backdrop of the Tang Dynasty, it tells the story of Emperor Xuanzong and his beloved concubine Yang Guifei. With a blend of traditional music, dance, and stunning visuals, the show captures the essence of Chinese history and culture. It’s a must-see for anyone seeking to immerse themselves in the rich heritage of China’s imperial past.🎉🎉
Xi'an was the capitol cities for the Zhou, Qin, Han, and Tang Dynasties. In the ancient time, the city was known as Chang'an, which means "Eternal Peace" in Chinese. Chang'an was one of the greatest cities in not just China, but the ancient world. Traces of the city's historical significance and glories can still be seen today, such as the ancient city walls and the Terracotta Warriors. I visited Xi'an about 13 years ago. Back then, they did not have the "Legend of Camel Bells" live show yet. Still, I immediately fell in love with the city's rich history and was awestruck by the Terracotta Warriors. This is the first time I ever heard about the "Legend of Camel Bells" show -- through Jason's video. 🙂 It was very impressive, particularly when the wolves were running through the audience. They must have invested a great deal of effort to train the wolves. The show was another thing about Xi'an -- besides the Terracotta Warriors -- that filled me with astonishment. I wish I could watch it live as well. 😀 "Meanwhile in America..." I can tell people the biggest thing happening in America now, because I am in the country. The country is currently reeling from an unprecedented political shock caused by the president bowing to pressure from his own political party and ending his re-election campaign less than four months before the general election. We are sort of in a big mess now: political mess, economic mess, foreign policy mess, and the uncertainty about which direction the country will take after the election in November. I'm glad that you enjoyed your time in Xi'an. Very interesting content. Thanks for sharing!
