    I know no one will probably read this but watching videos like this for me is a reminder that no matter how many beautiful things you collect or own you can't take any of it with you. When the time come we all leave exaclty as we came , with nothing.

    I was so excited to see the Eva Zeisel dishes you found. My son and his wife purchased a storage facility earlier this year and they had to clean out a unit that was many months in arrears. They found some pretty spectacular vintage items, and among them were some serving pieces by this designer, made for Hall. I'm in love with them.
    Happy hunting!

    All my life I've been a treasure hunter and loved all those pirate shows. I grew up with a sense of wonder about people and things from years before me. I watched Jacque Custeau who searched the ship wreckage. I dream I was the ships captain Not the wench trapped on the ship. This satisfies that desire to hunt for buried treasure where ever that may be!
    Thank you Jocelyn for this pleasure of hunting for buried treasure with you and the crew for bringing out the child of wonder in ME!

    I am having difficulty watching. No organization. Breakage from being walked upon. It doesn’t look like much progress on clean up putting broken things back in a box. The treasure hunt and clean up would be much smoother if you all had a plan with each person doing one job. I feel like so many cool valuable items are being overlooked.? Oh well,live and learn I guess. I have ADD too ,that’s why I know I to do things in a certain way. Watch some of Curiosity Inc’s hoarded house videos bet that would help you out. Take a deep breath regroup. Wishing you 🍀 luck. Greetings from Key West Annalisa&0livia (The Wonder Dog)💜🦜🦜🦜🦜🦜🦜

    • @lesliejohnson7247
      @lesliejohnson7247 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Lol. I think when you’re in this kind of situation, unless you’re truly Spok (or a robot), it’s pretty hard to be strictly logical. This is also probably after hours of work.
      Yesterday showed them driving home not planning to come back for a week or so.
      I think a different type of situation would probably be more like you suggested. For example when Jocelyn has brought us to Eric’s and Andrew’s house clean outs.
      There, it looks like they have banana boxes, black trash bags, packing paper and sometimes even bubble wrap.
      There they all looked so focused and more structured. Like, “We’re here to do a job, let’s get to it.”
      Curiosity Inc. same same. Sure, they’ll eventually get down to the brass tacks. But when there is SO MUCH and all of it has potential to be worth a crazy amount of money, I think people HAVE to treasure hunt.
      Not to mention, there will probably be others helping eventually. And most of those folks won’t be as good as the crew there now. They’ll either be less cautious, or unless Gus has other incredible friends willing to work, they’ll not be as trustworthy.
      It’s always best to high grade first.
      Just my humble opinion. Hell I’m hoping they’re showing this now because it’s all been taken away. I’d be scared someone would walk in there and trying to find stuff to steal, break more, vandalizes it, or essentially steals as much as they can.

    9:00 Space age classic! You must turn the blue glass ball. Quist ashtray.
    I found it last week. It was smaller than I thought (had seen it on picture). Someone tossed in a corner of a couch in the store. The ball was also turned. I was like: is it? It is!
