I understand the worry for sure. My dad was diagnosed with alzheimers when he was around 52 and I am always thinking, damn do I got it? Everytime I get absent minded or forget something I shouldn't, I worry. Sorry for your loss. Give yourself some grace❤. Glad I found your page!
Oh I am so sorry about your father! That is young!! And yes, that is exactly how I feel! I do feel much better after talking to my aunts. No one else in my family has had dementia. I am very sorry about your father’s diagnosis 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Take things one day at a time. My daddy went on his journey 2 years ago this last Jan, and my momma went through two years of grief. They were married for almost 60 years. Brain fog is definitely part of that grieving process. On the other hand, forgetfulness is a normal part of getting older as well. I am 55 and forget things all the time. Just don't fall into the self-fulfilling prophecy trap by focusing on it profusely and creating it in your own mind. Relax and all will be ok.
She turned out so cute and so straight! Yes, having good drills makes all the difference and I am very picky about my squares, too. If there is even a tiny bump, they will push the drill next to them out of alignment.
Hello KIMBA! This is a cute, gorgeous, beautiful painting. If I were to see this I would think of you. I do see a little space on her face but girl! you were like inches from the camera! There’s no spacing or gapping from the height of where the camera is . Your placing is always about as near as perfect gas it can get. She’s just too cute! I agree with your friend about grief. Our bodies all grieve differently and for different loved ones we lose. Being forgetful is just part of the process. I think you will be ok. 🤷🏼♀️ I do keep my keys in the same spot, but my card… it gets dropped in every time. My hubby gets so frustrated with me over. I usually am asked to get my card out while we’re in the car on the way there so I don’t have to dig for it. 😄😄 my kids even know I’m bad about the card. I’m so thankful you have your aunts. I am older than you and I am way more forgetful than I was 20 years ago. I can remember a song from 1979. I know the lyrics. The music. All of it. Then I find a song I know now. I can barely learn the lyrics,at all. Then in a month… I have forgotten it. I think stress and life have a lot to do with. If there’s a time in my life where I was stressing or hurting, I block out almost everything that happened with that time. What I watch, What I hear, Who I was with. JJ will have to remind me …. You saw them when such and such was happening. I don’t recall it. Sometimes. I never recall things if it happened in stressful times. Give yourself some room. You need it. And deserve it Hubby told me to tell you “howdy”. He listens to you with me. Have a great week! Blessings! ❤
She is so adorable! So sorry to hear about your grandmom. My mom is turning 90 in May and she has dementia and I feel like I forget everything too. I am hoping we will all be okay. Thank you for sharing🥰🥰
I am sorry to hear about your grandmother. There is no predicting these things. My grandmother had dementia, too, and my father. It is quite possible that I might end up with it as well, but I try not to worry about it. On my mother's side of the family, they weren't long-lived enough to worry about it😉
I agree with your comment about placing light coloured drills. I can place them perfectly straight and I still get gaping. I also find that if the glue is cot completely even you can place them straight but then they move a bit with the glue. I think it must be the "Glue Monster" moving them. Love the canvas. Adorable face. Makes you want to pinch her cheeks. LOL.
Hi Sherel! Welcome to my channel ♥️ I agree the lighter colors show gapping more in general, but I do think the company and canvas have a lot to do with how much gapping. I’ve had barely any gapping even with light colors with some canvases. Oraloa and DAC to name a couple. ♥️♥️
Hi Laura! Thank you so much! Im sorry this response is so late! Once I get behind I have a hard time getting back on track! I list everything in my descriptions with links. Here is a link for you! amzn.to/3VLSkVD
Hi Kim, so sorry to hear of the loss of your Grammom (the way you pronounced it). Please try not to be afraid of getting dementia just because she had it. It sounds to me like you live a very busy life and it could just be that. I think we're twins from another mother (tho I am an identical twin already). I lose my keys almost daily because I do exactly like you do. I leave them on my craft desk, the kitchen counter, the last yoga pants I wore, the bathroom counter, etc.! I carry a small cross body purse and they don't really fit in there but I hunt for my purse too! I do the exact same thing with my debit card -- pay for something, then stuff the card and receipt in a pocket of my purse or a pocket on my clothes. It's horrible that I just can't be organized but don't anyone dare touch my messy desk because I know what's there amongst the chaos! I had to laugh when you sang with your coffee mug. My husband is from Oklahoma and I got him an OK ornament for Christmas and when I gave it to him, I too sang "OOOOK La HO Ma" just like you sang it and it's from remembering it from a movie but I don't know any of the words at all, lol.
Hi Twin!!! Omg. My keys are a mystery 😂 I swear they have legs 🦵🏼 Haha yes! The song I remember we sang it over and over again. We never sounded any better 😅😅 I kept thinking why are we singing this song? We’re in NJ? 😂
Hey Kim I think and believe that we put certain things in compartments in our brain. That we don't like to talk about or think about. For instance sad events in a drawer in our compartment. I don't like to talk about the passing of my sister so there are things in that drawer that mind goes blank. Or passing of dad. But our happy things goes into a drawer more to the front of our brain. I have short term long term memory issues but yet I have memories I don't want to talk about that are bad memories do those are in a drawer way back in the memory. But every day things miss placing of keys, what we did that day, things like that we all do that. ONG my husband does same thing with me especially keys and my phone. I hope this helps. My short term long term memory is from chemo. But I have learned to try to take a little piece of the memory and search in those drawers and it's like a puzzle piece by piece.
Yes, I feel much better! I think it was stress. I haven’t noticed anything else alarming since this wip and chat 🙏🏼🙏🏼 it’s been a rough year so far. But I’m praying this is the end of the bad and the beginning of the good ♥️♥️♥️
I'm not sure if you'll see this comment this late but I've been experiencing the same memory issues and I've spoken to lots of doctors and it's true that grief and trauma can mess up your memory but one of the biggest ones is perimenopause and menopause, especially if you have ADHD, which it sounds like you might. Just a thought 💜
Hi Sarah! That’s a good point about menopause and perimenopause. I’m definitely in perimenopause. I am still very regular. I don’t have ADHD, at least I don’t think I do lol but I think my memory has gotten much better so I think it was the loss of my baby girl and uncle that just threw me into a tizzy. 🙏🏼🙏🏼♥️♥️
I dont think anything is wrong with your memory. I believe your mind is not allowing you to hold on to anything that is not letting you heal or keep your balance in balance. It's not wrong. The body will try to heal itself, and sometimes, it has to delete files.😂😂😂

Hi Danelle! Thank you for your support ♥️♥️♥️ and friendship 💕
Ps OMG your puppers! 😭😭😭 adorable!
I am forever setting my keys down and then panic when I’m ready to go somewhere! Your canvas is gorgeous!
Who’s going to be in charge of the keys in Ohio? 🤔😅

Hi Crafty Friend’ I confused people. I’m sorry. My Nanny passed away on 2003. I recently lost my Uncle. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 thank you 💖

Hi Mommy! Did you get her? She is so cute 🌙🌙
I love Oraloa! The drills are absolutely amazing, I agree with you! I’ve only done squares from them !
Yes! Hi Melanie! Team Oraloa! 🤗🤗💕💕
That canvas turned out absolutely beautiful.❤😊❤
Thanks Diane! 💕💕

Yes! Ugh the glue monster. I love that. I hate when I try to move a row to even it out and it just keeps snapping back! So annoying! 😭
Hey Kim. She turned out gorgeous ❤. Always look forward to your videos 😊
Thank you Kim! 💕💕♥️♥️
It's good to hear you really laugh again. Great video ❤
Thanks Jack 😘😘
Doesn't matter the company. Light colored square drills when placed on the canvas just inherently show the natural gapping more than darker drills.
Hi Sherel! Welcome to my channel ♥️

Hi Kim, I watch you all the time love your videos. I have a question what size bags do you use to kit down your diamonds? Thank you
