Just shows the stupidity of working machinery in such conditions! What's the point? You'll spend all day going from one disaster to the next and burn out your engine/machine in the process!
to bad they didnt phone the company i work for we specialize in recovering equipment in very soft ground our recovery vehicle could have pulled that out if it ws dead not running.
Tough place to be working. Both operators were doing good work to get it out.

Me thinks that's not the driver who did the getting stuck part, excellent work of getting it loose, it's usually a diggers work when its that bad :)
Could have been easily solved by using the grab to lift the front end and then use the rear wheels to pull it back whilst pushing with the grab too.

Looks like they realy need to tighten those rear belts... they weren't helping mutch :)
