The sad thing, I'm not there. I live on a big ranch in central Texas. I have a 3 acre area ONLY for my 4x4 RC trucks. Crawlers, truggys & buggies. I literally have a RC dreamworld. The problem, I'm all by myself! I know very few people invested in this hobby like I am. The only time I get to crawl with other people is watching on TH-cam... Thanks for a cool video!

Thanks for the comment! It's a great location, we had 28C weather all week before and after. Just perfect.. and with 70+ acres of land to play with, there was enough trail time to wear our anyone's batteries. Just a great place!

Thanks! There was so much more to record, and so much more to see, but we only got this much! Ahh! You can easily walk around for 3 days straight and just get footage of stuff.

As a fellow old school builder and content creator seeing the entire world finally accepting and adopting the scale RC lifestyle is like a dream come true! Hope to see more and more events like this continue to pop up around the world. You guys gonna make it down to Axialfest this year? Would be nice to finally get a trail run in after all these years.

kewl vid..i would love a 4x4 both axle steer.....even if it a straight up crawler set up... love to actually have a 1/8 scale..something with size..and good battery run time..

this is pretty nice but you should see the scale TOWN a guy built in southern Kentucky in a small town called Monticello. All I can say is OMG!!! Amazing is the word that comes tow mind. He has everything from a fruit stand on the side of the road to actual car washes complete with the spinning brushes...lol. He literally thought of every detail. it's kinda like the set up they have in Germany. They go all out over there on their scale towns. I'm willing to bet the guy in Kentucky saw those vids and got his ideas. We're planning on going to the one in southern Kentucky soon. I'm dying to try it out. You can try everything there. You can try your hand on the cranes all the way to dozers etc.

Very tempting. I love this new era of RC. I can't help but wonder why people aren't weighing down these scale trucks as to create more realistic movement. It seems wasted to have all this incredible detail, just to end up bobbing and bouncing around like a toy.
The quick answer is.. some are! We add weights when required, as well. Although as you can imagine, most of these really decked out trucks are very heavy, and with a proper sprung suspension, they can ride realistically! I suggest most trucks are VERY over sprung for their weight.

I do not. As you can see, more stock looking trucks really are my preference, and in scale modeling that's the flavor we try to do with everything. Thanks for watching!

He forgot his transmitter at home.. so we swapped in a Jak's RC reclaimed radio, which turned out didn't play well with the stick radios.. it had a nasty untimely glitch throughout the trail. Yeah! haha
