    I tell you what Haize like you said I'm all for earning the job just from a early look TB definitely has the talk ( judging from pressers) now if can walk the walk so be it but I'm also for doing your due diligence on HC search and really and truly do your homework and at the end of the day it's TB !! I'm good with it he does appear at first glance to at the very least be a leader of MEN!! The rest we'll see Chi-Town up & 🐻⬇️

    I agree, Haize, if I am the president and my subordinate hire was not a good hire.
    I would be very involved in the next hire, and I will have the final say, but I would definitely seek my GM advice and take into consideration how he feels.
    One can say it was a collaboration, but I would be the final say.

    i think KW being involved is a good thing. I hope this also opens the door for a consultant or two is added to assist with the search. KW has no idea what he's looking at, and its obvious that Poles isnt great at it either so get some help. Sometimes being "the guy" includes knowing when you have a blindspot and knowing its their and finding someone who can help fill it.

    Here's the problem, the only business Mckaski's own is the Chicago Bears. Unless they sell the team; ownership will not change. Owners will be involved in the head coach search.

However they may see the error in their ways and just let football guys do what they do you got to admit it looks like they're starting to turn the corner, maybe they see the writing on the wall as far as what they've always done doesn't fly in this day and age fingers crossed 🤞🏾 at least lol

    Poles messed up on Head Coach and OC!!!!!!!! Both Justin Fields and Caleb had their growth stunted because they had to at times run for their life, get sacked, or were rushed. Why POLES got his OLINE from TEMU is TOTALLY BEYOND ME!!!!!

  • @lathankilbrand
    @lathankilbrand 3 วันที่ผ่านมา

    Unfortunately, this situation is one that is going to continue for weeks to come. Plenty of rumors and speculation to look forward to. I really don't hold Poles accountable to Flu's as he may have chosen Flus but that choice was limited to a group of candidates selected by the organization. Yes Flus should have been replaced at the end of last season, but Poles wanting to give a coach every opportunity to succeed isn't something I'm going to hold against him, especially since Flus first couple years were with teams that I don't think any coach would have done much better. Warren being heavily involved or in charge of the next coaching hire is confusing to me as his resume is administrative and I have to ask what about Warrens background makes him the man to lead this search, especially when it's Poles who'll face the consequences of that decision. When it comes to potential coaching candidates, just way to early for me to take anything being said, rumored or speculated now seriously.

    Warren shouldn’t hinder Poles into hiring the next HC. It’s okay if he assists him in the search but the final say should be up to Poles. Instead of giving him 3 names of a list of coaches last time let him do as many interviews as he wants. At the end of the day he and the coach are gonna be tied together. This might be his final chance in choosing a HC that he wants. I’m not convinced he wanted Eberflus. Let him lead the search. Just know we need a leader of men. Not a yes man. Whoever that might be, we all know that wasn’t Eberflus. Hopefully we can persuade Ben Johnson or Vrabel. I’ll like an offensive minded HC just so we won’t have to replace him later on if we lose him to HC vacancy.

    He was in charge of the last coaching search too. Poles just took the blame for it. You guys do know that KEVIN WARREN is the reason Eberflus was hired right? You guys do know that KEVIN WARREN had already given Matt Eberflus one of 2 interviews before Poles was even hired, right? You guys do know that exactly one day after Ryan Poles was hired that KEVIN WARREN gave Ryan Poles a list with 3 crummy HC options to choose from right? Those 3 options were Jim Caldwell, I can't remember the second it was so bad, and the third option was Eberflus. Of course Ryan Poles chose the only unknown variable when the other 2 were proven duds. Kevin Warren is the problem here, not Ryan Poles.

      You are wrong in ALL CAPS! McCaskey is cheap and makes poor business decisions that shouldn't even be his to make. McCaskey offered O. Krutz $18/hour as an O-line consultant. He flew D. Quinn out for his interview, and had that huge man sitting in the back of the plane in a middle seat. The coaching network knows he's the problem.
