Milwaukee Deep Cut Portable Band Saw

A new offering from Milwaukee. This portable band saw features a 5" x 5" capacity, variable speed trigger and speed settings, a built in worklight and an array of different pitches in a compact package that will make a lot of fabrication work that much easier. Combine that with a stand, and you can have a very capable bench saw.

I just bought one about a month and a half ago. It is indispensable, much better than my chop saw for cutting stock. I agree that a level would be helpful although since I have been using the older version of this saw at work off and on for 10 years or more I seem to be able for the most part to judge how level I am without one.

Just a correction here. Small Point, but you don't have to worry about tooth orientation. You simply CAN'T put the blade on backwards. If you do, the teeth will point down. If for some reason you DO put the blade on backwards, you will soon understand the problem...

PhatJay the thing i have found that wears out are the rubber rollers that are on the drive wheels. Fortunstely they are easily replaced. I hsve Milwaukee tools that are over 40 years old that are still working just fine.
