How to Change Caster Wheel Bearings on a Wheelchair

This video demonstrates how to change the ball bearings on a wheelchair for the caster wheels (the front wheels). The bearings I use are called "Reds."

That style chair looks like mine. They said my chair all together only ways 38 which is cool bc this way the caregiver or whoever is loading my chair into the car, doesn't have to lift a heavy weight chair.
There is a lady that works at the hospital where I go to therapy, she's a parapeligic and she loads her chair up all on her own into her van AFTER she's already sittin in driver's seat. It's amazing to see. Inspiring for sure🌟💯

I just had my chair maintenance last week and your totally right, those lil tires in front do gather hair! Aftr they took all that out, my wheelchair jammed at higher speeds after words, with me barley having to put any arm work into it. Great difference!

@Michael Sherman I agree Michael. Thank You for your service🇺🇲💪🌟💯. My dad landed the planes onto the ship, Vietnam War, my Gpa was a gunner on the ship, WW2, and my daughter is on the Ronald Regan as we speak, she is an AO(Aircraft Ordanance Man). I have very high respects for our U.S. military and I pray for World Peace day and night.
I am very thankful for these videos as well, they are informative and uplifting as you said and they help us to do things independently again🌟💯.
I also have arm rest on my wheelchair which I call "my bike"..I keep my arms rests so I can do push off exercises and pressure relief. If you check out my channel, I have an example of that exercise on there. God Bless n Protect You For All You did and do for our country✝️🇺🇲.
