Charlotte was wonderful! She was incredibly composed (which shouldn't even be asked of children at such an age). She was precious, graceful, regal and supportive, always by George's side helping him follow all the etiquette and choreography.

I watched the whole funeral. The children were amazing. We as adults forget that even though they are royals, they are still children. Any long, drawn out event can be trying on any child, including very well behaved royal children. Catherine handled things very well.

The functions they attend are very long and not "children friendly" for the most part too. At the Queen's Funeral they were marvellous, couldn't expect anything more. Precious children! ❤

The two children behaved very well! For still very young ones to be at their Granny's funeral, and do so fittingly is superior for their ages! Considering their age , and how official the event was , Charlotte and George really behaved well above their age . Their level of concentration and composer was very high.But you cannot rule the fact that they are still children . They don't stop being children because of rayolty .

Princess Catherine handled it perfectly according to Psychologists who analysed it. Perhaps some people who choose to be critical should not cast stones as it has a way of coming back to bite you.

I remember Camillas behavior being disgusting. Have to be careful how you point the finger. These children did extremely well at such an event.

George and Charlotte behaved impeccably. They are children and not many children of there age would behave so well during a very long day, mourning their Granny and being on show all around the world.
Charlotte did. George not so much. To hurt his sister during this solemn occasion was just typical big brother mischief and not impeccable behavior. Especially since he knew she shouldn't cry out and would get scolded for it.
Charlotte is very smart for her age, and George attacked his sister unnoticed-this is a game, boys grow up for a long time, he will be like William in character, he will be a calm prince, God forbid Louis to repeat Harry, Louis is a very lively prince, I like him, very similar to Catherine's dad, children are like children, it's hard for them at many hours of royal events, but all three are a great family team of William and Catherine, they did a good job, Camilla needs to look after her own grandchildren, I think William reacted to her remark, of course, when there were no cameras and extra people, she was a stranger to the children of the future king. now many British and American media are trying to quarrel with the king and Will with various articles and notes, I think in vain, it happened 2 months ago, why bring up this topic again?
Honestly I don't see it. He was on the other side of Camilla and would have had to reach all the way around her and his arms aren't long enough. He's a well behaved boy and I can't see him pulling a prank like that in public where eyes and cameras are everywhere.

What ppl are forgetting, Carmella among them, is that unless Charles was physically with her then her position reverts to a non-royal and the 2 children are above her in rank by blood. She has not been coronated yet and at the funeral Charles had not been either. So Princess Charlotte preceding her from the car was perfectly in line with royal etiquette.

Personally i don't think that a funeral is the place for children at all and this funeral was a more long drawn out process than normal. I can understand that Prince William and Catherine are trying to ease their children into these important ceremonies, but the two children were extremely well behaved during this extremely long day and night to follow. Yes the new King has lost his mother and is trying so hard to follow in her footsteps of being stoic, but he is an adult aware of the various protocols and sense of duties, he's had 73 years to get to grips with that so vitally important day. These two babes haven't even reached double figures, but they're not only learning all the things other children up and down the land are doing, but they are also being schooled in royal etiquette and protocol. Back off all the doomers on these bairns and celebrate just how well they did throughout a trying day and days before hand

Absolutely. On a tour to N. Canada, she and KC were being entertained by Inuit throatsingers, a very admired talent in the culture. Both Camilla and KC looked at one another, barely able to contain themselves;Camilla kept covering her face and was visibly shaking with stifled laughter! While this form of entertainment might appear odd to outsiders, you would think a couple of adults in their position could have behaved in a more respectful way. Frankly, it was embarrassing and they should have felt ashamed of themselves. The only thing I disagreed with was that the children were made to attend BOTH church ceremonies PLUS the procession! That’s just way too long of a day for any person let alone a child! Children are known to have trouble with boredom during a normal church service let alone 2!!! I would have taken them to one or the other but definitely not both. They were impeccable in their manners given the hours and hours they spent silent , sitting and listening to boring talk. The other thing I learned early on with my kids is in situations like that is that they NEVER sit next to each other! That’s just asking for problems.
