Are you not playing retail anymore @Manather ? I really enjoyed your high key videos showing how you maximized damage. Although always with an evoker and PI made it a bit tough to make comparisons, since I rarely can rely on having PI or Aug in any of my groups or pugs. Still, miss your videos!
Why couldn't they just leave Arcane where it was in terms of talents? The last build was almost perfect imo. Siphon, Harmony+ Bombardment, the new Magi Spark, and Orb Barrage. What are you doing Blizzard? Ffs
You aren't wrong there. The only real utility talents for Arcane is Slipstream and Chrono shift and I guess maybe mana adept? But we are already taking one of slipstream/mana adept and mana is hardly an issue and chrono shift just never really feels necessary. Unless they want more utility in the tree but I don't think that will happen, mage is already absurd with its utility in the base tree.
They def fixed the most egregious one, being surging urge could path to totm, so you’d skip slipstream. Really the main problem now is talent bloat. But some things are hard to capture in a thumbnail.
Imagine coldfront without IP, TV and only in veins. Such a worthless capstone. Even fire had 15/ fireball/pyro for meteor and blizz wants frost to cast 30 frostbolts. So fucking dumb.
Classic blizzard anything that feels good must be changed to something that makes absolutely no sense, we can’t have people enjoying themselves too much
Wouldn't it be good if Blizzard actually collaborated with the theorycrafters when doing reworks. I can see they're trying to be creative, however they often miss the mark because they're not taking the big picture into account.
Fire is still probably very good same as arcane, you just won't see the single target talent build that deals 3M+ dps in AoE, some single target nerfs hurt like ashen feather, unlucky
Maybe ima doomer, but I’ll believe they will make positive changes when they see their bottom line effected, otherwise it’s whatever they want, feedback be damned. Would love to be proven wrong by blizzard, but much like sexual harassment it seems to follow the company to every game and IP they get into haha

Mages really are the main character of wow. The amount of changes this class receives is laughable. Hello Warriors, Shamans& hunters.
They re-arranged the talent tree. Now we can't get Death's chill without Fractured frost for ST :(.

I mean utility in class tree always competes with output talents.. Also what is there you would wish for. Utility is absolute top tier.

Not overreacting. Its trash for s1 now. It'll get buffed for s2 later down the line
