    As a non e-biker I found this video extremely interesting and insightful/ Love the customizations to expand on the bike's already amazing functionality. Great video and production!

    Gives me hope that I can bike again. Health limitations have made me give it up but I think an electric bike could get me back on the trails again...❤

      I think it definitely could!! You should totally try it. Maybe a rental for a day to see how it feels

      As I write this, this video is 4 months old so I suspect you've probably taken up ebiking by now, hopefully. If not, as someone who ultimately had to give away riding my normal bikes and move to e bikes due to a heart condition, I recommend it. I was reluctant to change to ebikes for some time because as a purest, I wasn't initially enamoured with them. However when my cardiologists recommend it, I accepted that if I wanted to continue doing what I love most, I needed to change my attitude. I now have both an emtb and an egravel bike and I love them both. The most important thing is, I can continue to ride everyday worry-free (and continue doing multi-day bikepacking adventures).

      Hey Soloist!
      Sorry for the late reply, just noticed your comment now. Thanks for the great comment and so glad to hear that you’re pushing on with the e-bikes. I’m sure it was a hard ego adjustment. But glad you’ve realized what truly matters. Getting out more on the bikes!!

    Great video. I’m curious about how you arrived at your aero bar and saddle setup

      Thanks !! Much appreciated.
      In my case there wasn’t much science behind it. I just rode lots of miles and kept adjusting along the way. And trying out different riser heights for my aerobars. The saddle is a Selle SMP TRK. A friend had one and I really liked it. The aerobars are an older model from Profile Designs that unfortunately is no longer sold. I really like them. Lots of adjustment options.

    What other e gravel bikes can do this?

    • @mikebikercanada
      @mikebikercanada  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I think any bike with the Bosch system. I don’t know if any other systems offer range extenders like this?

    Excellent video! You gave all the information one needs. One question... Can you simply leave the powermore plugged in the whole time?

      Thanks David! Glad you found it helpful. That’s a great question! I will test that out and let you know!

    Great content, thank you! One question: Do you know what battery is drained first if both are fully charged and the Powermore is plugged into the frame socket? For bikepacking, it would be nice if the Powermore were drained first, as you could then unplug it and charge it from a solar panel while you ride. Thanks again!

      Great question. And fantastic idea. I haven’t tried that order of things yet. I will find out and write you and to let you know

    You have a link to that bag?

    • @mikebikercanada
      @mikebikercanada  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Vick!
      The specific bag was made custom. But if you visit the Rogue Panda Designs website you’ll find a great online tool they have to submit your bike dimensions to have one made specifically for your bike. There’s a good chance your bike might already be uploaded to their files.

    Hey, for the Panda bag, did you get bolt on?

    • @mikebikercanada
      @mikebikercanada  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, full bolt on. And one Velcro strap on the downtube that was recommended by rogue panda.

    For me the problem with your bike is that it’s a class 3 ebike. Class 3 bikes are not allowed in many places such as Going to the Sun Road in Glacier Park. Therefore I only want a class 1 ebike.

      That is a very valid point Dave and definitely something to consider!
