When I got to reconcile mine looked different but I didn't panic. I looked at that part in the video over and over and got it. This has saved me so big. Thank you Thank you Thank you. Thank you; thank you; thank you! and for the person who linked to this in the QBO community under a question. I wish QBO would stop making all these unncessary changes needing a workaround. The creation of the accountant's account has led to nothing but problems. How to make things that used to work just find confusing, Intuit! Thanks for this workaround (that should not be needed in the first place) to get me back on track with my work.

Great video. Been struggling with a beginning-balance issue; the beginning balance that QBO is auto-inserting in the beginning balance box when I start a reconciliation is wrong, but there doesn't seem to be a way to fix it. There is nothing populating in the reconciliation history field, even though there were reconciliations performed during the time when I was using QB Desktop (it doesn't seem to have been brought in with the data import).
That's an awesome work around. Thanks! Great tutorial. Is this what I have to do to split up some expenses that were all lumped in to one category? Also, do you know how to eliminate a duplicate bank account? I can't seem to find a way to do that. Thanks.
