Great video!! I have to say that I have experienced the same thing as you are with your friend, and I decided that true friends don't treat you that way. It eventually made me sick to my stomach so I avoid that person as much as possible. I have many other friends who are always loving and appreciate our friendship so I focus on them. I pray that you will find friends who will appreciate the loving and caring person that you are as well as enjoying doing crafting with you! Friends like that bring joy and happiness to you. I loved seeing you make a pomander; I have never done that but I hope to do it soon; thank you for sharing your talents and time. I love seeing what you are making. Love that you are swimming, I really should too but I just haven't. Of course I love Witches, they make me happy too. Love the cards, you have so much talent and are so creative. We used to make clove covered oranges when younger, I may have to do it again. Audrey
Wish there wasn't an ocean between us, we could hang out and talk crafts and make christmas oranges. :) Some people like to complain and don't want you to actually help with their problems, they just want you to listen to them complain. I have someone in my life like that, so stressful to be around, always complaining about everyone...and I know they are complaining about me too when I'm not around, I'm sure. As always, a lovely video Jay. Just so you know you're not alone, I'm also considered insufferably boring...but it's just that other people don't share my passions. People who aren't into it think stitching is for 90 year old spinsters in hospice (no offence to spinsters or hospice patients). After I spend a wonderful (and dare I say exciting) weekend gardening and stitching, people like to inform me I "do nothing." LOL. Your followers understand you! Also, the fact that you can swim something like 32 laps is SO IMPRESSIVE. You're amazing!

Im sorry to hear you havent had such a good week, friendship and problem sharing should go both ways and your friend if she is a true friend should know that, maybe she just hasnt realised what you have been through and going through, hope things pick up for you soon jay as if theres anything ive learned is friendship is a very important part in ones life and your such a sweet lady and deserve happy friendship and love in your life, love watching your videos always such a pleasure I too love diamond painting aswell as cross stitch and other crafts even thow im poop at sewing xx
So sad your friend isn’t sharing your life as much as she is sharing hers. That’s very frustrating, I’ve had “friends” like that too, one in particular I’d just had it with her and just honestly told her how I felt, that she never asked how I was feeling, how my life was, that it was not really an even friendship . She wasn’t aware of that and made a very pointed, almost cheeky, point to ask how I was which just made it worse. I came to realize that was just how she was, very self-centered and would never really change so I could either just put up with it or move on to other friends. I love the cards you made, it was all I could do to not go order the book but I don’t send out many cards these days so I didn’t get it. They are so pretty though, you’re always sending the prettiest cards and postcards, you’re the only person who mails me cards and I love them. Big hugs sweetie🤗💖🤗💖🙋🏼. You make so many lovely crafts, I used to but not so much these days, I stitch, knit and sew a little. I used to sew a lot, made everyone pjs or nighties for Christmas every year, made my own coats, made my daughter a pretty dress every year for Christmas, her prom dress, and lots of other things but everything is so cheap to buy these days and styles change so quickly it’s not worth it. Lol. Your friend at the other end of the country and you could FaceTime craft together, you could see each other at least and show what you’re doing. I love FaceTiming my family and friends, much better than texting or just phoning. My granddaughter uses it upstairs to talk to me, sad she’s so lazy she can’t walk downstairs🤣😂. It’s all about the screen time with her. It’s great you’re getting the swimming in still, I found it harder to go once the cold weather came, I got chilled on the way home even though I dried well, even my hair, I just hate being cold now, old bones I guess. I’ll send a message on Instagram.

Jay don’t let your friend get you down too much. Some people just have to talk about themselves and no one else. With the witches of Salem piece you can all ways put the name of it at the bottom of the piece if you have plenty of fabric there and make it your own one off a kind piece. Hope you will find some one out their to craft with. Do you have any community places where people meet up and go to or libraries might now of group around your area or have a look in your local news paper there might be groups advertising in it. It took me a while to find a group of stitch with.

We used to make the orange and clove pomander when I was a girl. Very special memory.
