Great to see you and sweet Luna! 😊❤Congrats on starting school and your new job. The Shutouts sounds really intriguing, as well as Perfume and Pain. I keep looking at that one because of the amazing cover, but no reviews yet. I did hear one Booktuber say Dorn’s other book was great/underrated though! Hope you’re having an awesome week ❤
Thanks so much! I really hope you enjoy Perfume and Pain if you decide to pick it up! I'll have to look her other book up. Thank you for the suggestion!
Congratulations on starting school and a new job! Amazing looking books! I did enjoy The Lincoln Highway and The River We Remember. For some reason they both make me think of Melinda (web of stories) I think she has talked about those a lot 😅
Cool news about the new camera etc and starting school again! That Last Hours Book sounds so confusing. The Indian Card sounds really interesting. Will be interested to hear your thoughts on The New Life. Believe it or not the story of Esteban’s exploration was taught in Texas when I was in the 7th grade way back in 1979. Thank you for reminding me of Lelani’s book.
Thank you! Last Hours does sound a bit confusing, but also possibly good. I figured I'd be better off reading the description than trying to summarize it myself. That's awesome that Texas taught about Esteban in school. I don't often find myself happy with Texas' policies, but it looks like they were ahead of the times on that one. :)
You have so many great books on your December TBR. My favorite Krueger book is This Tender Land. I liked The Lincoln Highway and The Whispers. I will be mood reading this month. The one book I will definitely be rereading this month is The Book Thief because I was gifted a hardback with extra content, and I will be buddy reading it with Cynthia. She's never read it.
Congrats on going back to school! What are you planning on studying! I also need to get to some BotM books...I don't think I'll be able to win the prize this year, but I'd like to make a bit of dent on the books I got this year.
I just read the synopsis for Gillian McAllister Famous Last Words: A Novel coming out in February 2025 And remembered we share birthday June 21 so I wanted to share that with you!! Check it out
I’ve tried McAllister’s writing once and wasn’t overly excited about it. I hope you enjoy it though if you read it. And how fun is that?! I love hearing from my birthday twins!
I love Luna and her snores. Congrats on the new job and going back to school!
Thank you!
Happy to see Luna and you back! Your TBR list is fabulous and I have added many to my TBR list - thank you!
Thank you so much! I hope you enjoy the ones you read. :)
It's nice to see Luna snoring, as well as hear her 😆
@@AaronReadABook right?! She likes to pop into the videos from time to time. :)
Luna and your snores .. congrats on the new adventures of school and new job. 2025 will be an adventure of good..
Thank you! I am feeling very positive about 2025. 2024 was a year focused on traditions and 2025 feels like starting fresh in the best way.
I looove the Bachelor lol... so I am very familiar with Abigail and her story. I didn't know she wrote a book that's awesome 🤗

Thank you! They make me think of Melinda as well. She definitely recommended William Krueger Kent.
I was so surprised (and excited) to get an approval email for Untethered today! I’m looking forward to it.
I hope you love it! Untethered sounds like it will be good!
So much exciting stuff!! Great TBR! I have Private Rites and Where I End on my Dec TBR too!
Thank you! I’m looking forward to our bookclub book as well! Ishiguro is a favorite of mine. :)

Life is changing!
@@jeanninethompson6243 yes! A bit more than expected, but I’m happy to say that it all feels very positive.

Thank you! I’m planning on studying business admin with a double major in Spanish. I definitely need to keep chopping away at them this year too!
Ginuwine-ly is the only acceptable way to say this word going forward. I think he would approve. 😅
Now I have to go back and re-watch my video to see how I pronounced genuinely. :)
2008 is historical fiction??? I feel so old lol
@@AmrutaRanade not sure if it is officially, but it’s set 16 years ago, so I wasn’t sure what to call it. And same. 😅
