So good to see Kin's baby playing outdoors and lovingly cared for by her keepers. Also good to see Shingen too! We hope all will be better for them in 2018. Can't wait to see what name is selected: Kokin? Kinnoko?
Yes, she is happy playing outdoors. Hopefully, she'll be placed in an area with trees or some climbing structures in the spring. Isn't it very cold and snowy in Kushiro in the winter? It seems to take so long to get her an official name! Why? At Maruyama the names were given within 3-4 months as I recall.
Thank you again for your followup to my comments. I can't read Japanese, so I am probably missing a lot of information regarding Kin's baby. Good to hear that Kushiro isn't as heavily snowed in as Sapporo and that her name will be officially announced at the winter festival. She seems to be very healthy and frisky (very active) and well-cared for. I wish the 2018 calendar could be available online on (USA) Amazon.
