Thanks for the nice comments. Take a look at KFI. They have a nice little 1700LB winch that we put on the King Quad 400 that would be perfect, but I'm guessing you may have to adapt another mount to work on the Ozark.
@Neil1014M It'll tell you all that in the owner's manual. I suggest that if you just bought it that you change it immediately. Then, depending how much or how hard you use it, I'd probably change it every 250 to 500 miles after that.
@Neil1014M That depends entirely on how fast the machine was ridden. If you average about 10 mph, then it would be about 25 hours. As a rough idea. If you want to figure your mileage better you might want to carry a GPS along on at least one or two trips to see what you average.
@MrEarthmover CVT, IRS, and maybe increase the engine size to 750! Oh wait they did that already. I think what we said was that someone should make a 'premium' small 4x4 ATV with gauges and maybe a CVT ;-) BTW: We have all our comments come through so we can approve them for language and idiocy before posting.
@bobcats330 We could go round and round on this - but simply stated if you can go every place a 4wd ATV can then that 4wd ATV didn't really need 4wd! It's an undeniable fact that a 2wd ATV WILL NOT go places were you need a 4wd ATV to go.
when he was talkin about 2wd having to get a run and things, i have a recon, and i generally go where i want, yes you have to do some things different but it still goes most places a 4wd one will go
@SleepingPasta Check out our website. We did a big comparison of all these ATVs. It was great! The Ozark barely won over the Recon due to the 'fun' factor, but they are both awesome machines.
i have an 03 ozark 250 and i absolutely love it. even after 8 years and 3 wrecks it runs great

@ATVTVCOM what gear did you have it in goin on that flat part in the 2min and 17 second.. love de video
@311fan312 The Ozark won our big comparison test, but it was very, very close.
Great machines for extreme duty but limited suspension travel means slower trail speeds.
@LITTLEREBEL55 I really don't know. You'd have to check the local classifieds and better yet maybe cycle trader for current 'asking' prices.
