I’m nominating you for the TH-camrs of the year award for adventuring so far north and subjecting yourselves to bone chilling temps on top of a “Tia for scale”. Beautiful spot. And a postcard?! What more could we all want? Hope you’ve thawed out🥶🥶🙏👏🏻✌️🤙
I'm finally flying to Japan in January 2023 and I'm really happy every time you discover a new corner (and food) in Japan for us! I can't wait to experience it myself! P.s: Your choice of music is always so on point!
Love love love from indonesia for both of you. Just explore the world for knowledge to peoples never reach the spot u did . Envy for both of u ,wish could be there someday 😊
My new favourite TH-camrs. I am in Australia. Cairns. Would love to take my wife and kids to Hokkaido for a white Xmas next year. Love your editing and soundtracks. You make a beautiful couple. Enjoy your travels and keep posting!
This video deserves more 👍👍👍👍👍 for the effort. I love how you capture slices of daily life wherever you go. Years down when you or anyone looks at it, you'll notice the little details and how things changed.
For us who do not plan on such adventures when in Japan, thank you very much for taking us there. Now you can tell your grandchildren that you both have been there and enjoyed the wind chill, rain, and best of all, the beautiful scenery.
Heading to Japan on December 11th and stumbled across your videos. As we're on a budget, I really appreciate that you share costs of things and tips! Your video production is also pretty good -- love "Tia for scale" and timelapses. Wishing you well on the rest of your journey.
Love the cinematography and music to it . The scenery is breathtaking. An awesome video showing a place I’ll probably never see for myself . Thanks for taking me on your journey to the Northern most part of Japan
What a unique experience and goal while travelling throughout Japan 🇯🇵. Glad you are both making awesome memories across such a diverse country. Looking forward to seeing you reach Japan’s southern most point.
I think it’s awesome that your heading to the northern most and southernmost parts of Japan. It’s something my husband and I would do (have done) while exploring a country. Love your energy! Enjoy!
The change in climate from Hokkaido to Okinotorishima will be so crazy. This is the coolest journey I've ever seen any travel TH-camr take. Hope to win even one of the postcards from you guys!
Love this! You guys look like you are having an incredible time, amazing energy. My partner and I are heading to Japan in February, so loving all the ideas. Can't wait to watch your trip from North to South, keep having fun. :)
Always brings a smile to us following you guys and living an adventure thru you. We'll be everywhere you've been in 23 and 24, so good to see and plan for from your adventures
We live in Australia, so little trips are expensive and time consuming. We are semi retiring and taking an 18 to 24 month venture. We have a lot planned but it's constantly changing. Possible Schengen zone changes will change things again. Also we live in the sub tropics and want to experience a white Xmas.
That’s super adventurous of you two to travel to the most Northern end of Japan. Can’t wait to see how it is at the most Southern end of Japan! And JR pass does save a lot of money and well worth the price to purchase. Perhaps the ginger ale in Japan is made of real ginger so maybe that’s why the color is more of a yellow hue along w honey added.
You two have become my favourite TH-cam 'comfort food'. I hope you savour every moment of these travels; stop once in a while, look around, breathe it in, send me a postcard... :D But seriously, enjoy yourselves!
Super amazing video!! Love the analogy of feeling like you're travelling to the edge of the world when the scenery and landscape gradually shifts from a metropolitan city to the rural countryside :D Made me feel as if I'm going on this journey with you guys. Can't wait for the adventure to the southernmost point of Japan! 🗾
Loving you two! We are headed to Japan in March for the Tokyo Marathon and learning so much from you about traveling outside your comfort zone. Such good attitudes.
I found your channel while planning a trip to Koh Phangan - which helped us tremendously and now we’re headed to Japan in 2 weeks. My family and I LOVE your energy and candidness, and what is most refreshing is it’s basically a highlight reel, I learn just enough about a specific place/ experience that it doesn’t spoil it for me when I get there! Have fun on your travels for the rest of year 2! Hopefully Year 3 brings more adventures 🎉
Such an adventure to the empty island! both of your high and warm spirits are shining through the freezing sky and air! Two angels bring us the light! Bravo!!! Keep going and follow your dreams!
You showed me places I didn't know even existed , Japan is one of the places I would love to visit , is a childhood dream. Greetings from South Africa.
Been watching all of your videos since Thailand but I gotta say… This is probably my favorite video of yours so far❤ I love that you went off the beaten path, especially in Japan where people always seem to stay in Tokyo or Kyoto and visit the usual touristy sites. Nothing wrong with that (gotta admit I did it too haha) but I love your sense of adventure! Hearing you say “I don’t know why we did this” made me laugh because it does seem like such a random yet ambitious thing to do but I’m so proud because you did it! Looking forward to your journey down south, I’ll be living vicariously through you☺️ I’m so excited!!🫶
Didn't even know this place existed in Japan... Looking forward to see how the journey continues:) Really liking your plan to travel all the way to the southernmost point!
I hope once you make it to the southern most point of Japan that you hop over the water and tour Taiwan, you won't be disappointed! Have just discovered your videos, love Japan and you showcase it beautifully. Good work & keep having fun! (I will visit back catalogue of countries also)
Does Tia not having any handwarmers? instant heat pads, ホッカイロ Hokkairo. 🥶 It is great to have hot drinks as handwarmers indeed, but that only last no time isn't it. Hokkairo will last at least a few hours. 🔥
Aw you guys, hope you're not freezing 🥶 and got enough warm clothes! Tia's joy whenever ahe finds something sweet/warm in this case hot chocolate cracks me up 😂. Take care!!
Thanks again for another great video! I can almost feel your cold from over here. Stay warm and we look forward to your videos towards the southern tip!
You guys are SO cool! Definitely one of my favorite TH-cam travel couples right now! My boyfriend is a wildland firefighter and I discovered your Japan videos totally randomly in our hotel room during this past fire season. My boyfriend and I definitely have Japan on our list of future travel spots and I love seeing different perspectives from people who’ve traveled there from the States! Stay safe out there and keep being awesome! Your postcard idea from the different places you go is so fun! 😁😁😁
I am from Japan but I have never been to northern Japan so this vlog was very fun to watch! I hope you guys warmed up after seeing the northern most point! Can't wait to see your next vlog! :)
I really enjoyed watching you both go to the Northern most tip of Japan. I can't wait to see what you get up to when you go to the southern most tip. ❤️❤️
I say it every time but you guys are simply amazing!!! I'll be heading on a long term trip with my boyfriend beginning of January and our first stop will be Japan! Obviously it'll be winter but coming from Canada, we're not too worried about it :P Also, you guys have inspired most of the trip for us :) If all goes well, we even want to vlog it! All to say, can't wait to continue following your journey towards the southern most point :)
Not sure I would go there but I CERTAINLY APPRECIATE you guys taking us along for this trip as well, it was very interesting! I've seen other videos of it and it does create curiosity in me. It seems like a mostly remote area of the country.
Would love that postcard! Thanks for all the work you put into these videos, they always are so well done and it’s a joy watching you both in your adventures. Still waiting on my chance to be able to take my girlfriend to Japan sometime soon😁
Just came across your channel. The 2nd video of yours that I'm watching today. So cool you both took this trip but so crazy at the same time! Love it! :)
Great video! Hope you will safely get to southern end of my country. But there’s no JR out there.😢You need to fly for some 3 hours or more from Wakkanai via Sapporo to Hateruma via Naha(maybe) Enjoy your trip❤
We love you guys so much!! I can’t wait to see the next video! We look forward to every video..every blooper…every “brrrp bbb brrrp”. I hope you get that!! Lol.
You two are such world-class 'troopers'...Kudos and bravo/a...!!👏 Always love your excursions, humor and stellar cinematography...new camera has paid off many times/shots over...!!👍 Happy trails🌏... stay safe...and thank you...!!✌

This video deserves more 👍👍👍👍👍 for the effort. I love how you capture slices of daily life wherever you go. Years down when you or anyone looks at it, you'll notice the little details and how things changed.
That is the main motivator for these videos. It’s going to be really neat to watch these in 20, 30 years 😊
For us who do not plan on such adventures when in Japan, thank you very much for taking us there. Now you can tell your grandchildren that you both have been there and enjoyed the wind chill, rain, and best of all, the beautiful scenery.
your excitement once you reached the monument was so contagious! I'm glad you guys are having such a great time in Japan.
Japan is such a cool place! Loving it here 😊

I'm bringing my daughter to Japan in January!!! We Can't Wait!!!!!
Another beautiful and wonderful video, guys. Thank a lot for filming under the clod, wind conditions.
Love the cinematography and music to it . The scenery is breathtaking. An awesome video showing a place I’ll probably never see for myself . Thanks for taking me on your journey to the Northern most part of Japan
Love your videos! The interaction between you two is cute and refreshing. I can’t wait for the next video.

You must be so, so excited! Are you planning a bunch of individual trips, or taking a year-long sabbatical?
We live in Australia, so little trips are expensive and time consuming. We are semi retiring and taking an 18 to 24 month venture. We have a lot planned but it's constantly changing. Possible Schengen zone changes will change things again. Also we live in the sub tropics and want to experience a white Xmas.
Really enjoy the series!!
Your editing and filming skills are quite impressive for one-bag world wanderers. You set the bar high and create inspiration! ❤
Looking forward to the Japan series. You might want to check out the Hida area if the leaves haven't fallen yet (Gero Onsen & Takayama!)

The Song being played on the Piano at the Train Station was "Pretender" By Official Hige Dandism. For those wondering 🤔 .
I’ve been watching you guys since the beginning and have just loved every second of your adventures. Thanks for bringing us along!
Loving you two! We are headed to Japan in March for the Tokyo Marathon and learning so much from you about traveling outside your comfort zone. Such good attitudes.
Wow…that’s super dedication. Been bingeing your travels last few weeks. Just got to Ko Phi Phi. You guys are effortless to watch.
Very interesting to see other parts of Japan from north to south good idea!!
Such a unique experience😊 I’ve never been to that point but want to visit there down the road!
Awesome video, guys! Such a memorable experience that I’m sure you’ll never forget.

That’s a huge compliment, thank you! We try not to spoil the spots we go to, for people watching the videos 😅
How did you guys like Koh Phangan!?
We loved it! I was heavily pregnant but managed to do so many things, coming from Singapore so it really felt like a nice break away from the city.
Such an adventure to the empty island! both of your high and warm spirits are shining through the freezing sky and air! Two angels bring us the light! Bravo!!! Keep going and follow your dreams!
Great vlog… but looks cold! Look forward to seeing the travels south
Looking forward to the series! Been following you guys from the very beginning of your channel and so exciting to see how you evolved 🎉
Wow! Props to you for sticking with us. Thank you 😊
I love your videos! Thank you for showing us the world!
Love all of the vending machines around Japan and exploring random alley ways to find random food
What an amazing trip! Love the no “air plane” trip. Great idea.
It should be interesting, at least! 😅
For someone who is so randomly anxious you guys, Tia especially, were pretty brave to travel during pandemic. I would have been paranoid on airplanes.
Oh my goodness, y’all are so adventurous. I love how you were the only ones commuting that way😂. You are truly living life to the fullest❤
It definitely made us wonder what we were doing 😂
Love these odd choice adventures. Getting there is what counts! Looks like you’re having a great time, enjoy!
You showed me places I didn't know even existed , Japan is one of the places I would love to visit , is a childhood dream. Greetings from South Africa.
Hello to South Africa 😊
Great video! Thank you for taking us on this unique journey. Looking forward to the next destination.
I doubt I'll ever travel to Japan, but it's great to see your videos. Stay safe and enjoy your travels.

One of my favorite videos from you.

That's a good tip about hot beverages purchased from vending machines. Yes, they make great hand warmers!

Wow, what an amazing experience! I will be there soon! :) I love all your vlogs!

It looks so cold.
that guy playing the piano was so good 😱 wow! that's so awesome that you can see Russia.
He just randomly sat down at that public piano and started tearing it up! Guy had some talent for sure.
Great video! Hope you will safely get to southern end of my country. But there’s no JR out there.😢You need to fly for some 3 hours or more from Wakkanai via Sapporo to Hateruma via Naha(maybe) Enjoy your trip❤
