All of these products are just beautiful, especially the tables. My only hesitation might be that there are too few of those large trees left in the world. But I am a woodworker and I am always in the need of wood myself. 80% of the wood I use is repurposed wood from materials I break down and the rest I buy. Thank you for sharing this with us!!
My thought exactly, although I love woodwork and appreciate beautiful architecture it all comes with the destruction of this world. As the global wealth is rising the overall consumption of various materials is rising too, can‘t see any reduction or down trend. The only solution to this dilemma would be that the amount of processed trees is the same as new ones being planted and growing at the same rate… but I am not very positive about that. The companies trading and processing natural materials are after the money and unaware of the consequence.

Absolutely. I was thinking about trafficking involved in such activity… I’m French. Wood in France is being exported to China, and the government , let alone the so called ecologists do not seem to care a lot…Thousands of jobs were lost here due to the loss of the ressources

Beautiful tables, and a very good video. What makes this video so much more enjoyable is that there's no music. Just the sounds of the work being carried out here. This adds to the video in that you can hear just how heavy those logs are and the amount of work required to create these tables from them. Too many such videos are ruined by junk music. Thank you. 😊
Agree with you.....videos with music back ground are so annoying some times. In some videos it's no longer back sound but become the fore sound and verry annoying.
In my country Indonesia, we have a large number of people doing similar jobs in making solid wooden tables. Difference is the workers use their bare hands (no gloves, no masks), and the only machine used is an outdated chainsaw. The finished product usually cost less than $150 if bought directly. And usually includes free delivery within the Java island

The fact that the plan of the table is in one piece allows to highlight lines of wood strong aesthetic. However, this has a major drawback: since wood is not a stable material over time, the risk of seeing the table plan crack is major, even when the wood has been cut into planks and then naturally dried for 3 or 4 years. (which is not the case here).

Replanting.. we in Indonesia have done for years in many forests. We cut (qualified measure) trees but also replant.. Sadly, the program is fails in few location.. we keep losing our forests.. not because illegal logging, but mostly because our jungle is transformed as crude palm tree and coal mining

I have a dinning table look like these, but it's not from a big tree. It's a 4 smaller long pieces clued together.

Expensive trees from somewhere in the world. I would suggest they are old crop radiata pine logs from New Zealand. Trees maybe 80-90 years old.

Seamos claros,el resultado de este trabajo no puede ser más espectacular,es una obra de arte,de ahí que su precio solo pueda ser cubierto por personas a las que les sobra el dinero,pero qué lastima ,como también,en poco tiempo se va al carajo lo que a la naturaleza le costó tantas décadas producir...ese tipo de negocios,en alguna manera han "contribuido" a qué el planeta esté cómo está.
pero los modelos de las mesas súper feas, toscas, rectangulares, sin formas ni tallados, las patas en ves de darle un buen estilo, no me gustó, además debería estar prohibido talar árboles tas escasos
@@JavierSaguez Hola Javier,es un gusto saludarte...el motivo de mi comentario es porque soy de esas personas que amamos la Naturaleza,la conservación del bosque,ver a los animales en su hábitat,no me gusta para nada la tala de árboles nativos que tienen,algunos hasta siglos de vida.El cambio climático nos está afectando a todos,vemos como la gran selva amazónica cada día va desapareciendo más por puro interés económico,avalado por la corrupción política,y así en otros lugares del mundo.Respeto el trabajo de los ebanistas,algunos son verdaderos maestros en su labor,pero debería prohibirse el uso de éstos gigantes que también son obras de arte de la Naturaleza.

Replanting.. we in Indonesia have done for years in many forests. We cut (qualified measure) trees but also replant..
Sadly, the program is fails in few location.. we keep losing our forests.. not because illegal logging, but mostly because our jungle is transformed as crude palm tree and coal mining

хрень полная, учитывая что для этой хрени губят сосны, которым более 200 лет, судя по толщине. из простых склеенных обрезков можно собрать стол ничуть не хуже, а рисунок там порой даже интереснее
