I think that the co-creator thing applies to Shalltear as well. When she was resurrected it wasn't a normal resurrection, it was done with NPC creation program making Ainz her new creator. This can also explain why after the resurrection she suddenly became more meticulous and started overthinking things. Ainz's personality was imprinted over her.

That's a good theory but it's incorrect. She felt extremely bad that she had done something so horrible to a supreme being. So she felt she had failed as a guardian. But don't worry she makes up for it in a future character arc.

This plot has acquired for me a whole new level of tragedy. If Albedo really kills some members of the guild ... it will be comparable to turning a knife in my heart. I would really like Ainz to be happy in the end.

The bad ending would have happened even if Ainz had found his friends. In fact, Ainz complains that the matter of conquering the world may not please them, moreover everything he has done before certainly would not make him look nice in the eyes of most of them. So there would surely be someone who, due to race, settings or their own thinking would be more or less bad (Ulbert) or good (Touch me). This would create a civil war in Nazarick and would end either with the fall of the grave or with the death of some supreme beings (remember, they no longer have their equipment and therefore are very weak).
For some reason, I think Ainz would also tell about the complexity of the situation in which he got into... that he is afraid that the NPCs will betray him if he does not live up to their expectations. He loves and trusts his friends. He was always the soul of the company, and it was he who kept the guild together. Besides, I think friends would feel guilty ... because they left him alone. I think they would not kill each other. I think they could come to an understanding.
Of course Ainz did a lot of evil, but he was able to create a utopian kingdom in the end. I think even Touch me could forgive him. After all, people in the new world ... damn racists. Ainz Ooal Gown guild has never been "good guys". And even if some of them tried to be kind and sympathetic ... I don’t think that people from the new world would like sympathy from the mind-eater (Tabula Smaragdina) or toxic slimes like Hero Hero. Soooo yea. Common sense tells me that they would just stick together as always.
@@feodaron89 If you think about it, the fear that the NPCs may betray him is remote. In fact, they are programmed to be loyal to Ainz and, in my opinion Ainz, until he gave them what to live and made Nazarick prosper (even without committing massacres, apart from those of real wars, such as those with goats) would have admired him (Demiurge for example, when Ainz asked him to immediately kill the captured citizens, the demon praised his lord for being very generous.) He builds a good kingdom for sure, but he did harm, even before he started conquering the world (like with the Lizardman). Furthermore, it is unfair to judge all the inhabitants of the new world as racists, think for example of the village of Carne (the inhabitants live with the goblins, quietly), or the Foresights (they had a half elf in the group, they were also disgusted by racism towards the three slaves elf) or Gazef (even knowing that Ainz was an undead, respected him). Surely the general mentality of the new world is as you described it, but an undead brought many innovations and therefore, as they learned to know Ainz, they would learn to know others.
Well, I don’t know ... some of the guild members look much worse than Momonga. I think simple peasants would go insane if they just saw Tabula or for example Bellriver. I don’t think that guild members would greatly sympathize with the inhabitants of the new world.
On the one hand, we have ordinary people of the new world who will hate and fear you, simply because of how you look, and on the other hand, we have good old Momonga, a friend we have known for many years. Yes, he made some mistakes, but it's still him, why should they choose the inhabitants of the new world instead of him? it’s easier for them to influence him and change his actions than to try to overcome the racism of the new world.
In addition, some people such as Remedios would never have accepted heteromorphs as equals.
I think some guild members would be attacked as soon as they were seen...or people would have run away from them in horror.
It’s really hard for me to imagine the circumstances in which guild members would attack Momonga in order to protect the inhabitants of the new world, this idea is simply absurd for me.
i highly believe Albedo will try her best to kill all the other members of nazarick if she were to find them.

Theory: Being in possession of a World Class Item is the reason why Yggdrasil Players were brought in the New World.
Evidence 1. Six Great Gods
*High Priest from Slane Theocracy "The Gods left divine equipments that bear unimaginable powers..." currently owned by the Godkins
Evidence 2. Eight Greed Kings
*after their defeat, the Dragonlord claims the Guild Base "floating castle" as its home which contains lots of divine class equipments (probably some world items) which he later gave some to the 13 heroes as a sign of his blessings.
Evidence 4: The Evil Deites/ Evil Lords
Yggdrasil mechanics info from as the Guild decides their next adventure "Some high level entities such as the 7 deadly sins is rumored to drop a World Class Item if defeated"

The Throne of Kings, a world class item that is say to provide power to an entire guild base. All entities of Nazarick was under it.

Orb of Momonga, Momonga was transported alone when he decided to spend the last minute of Yggdrasil outside Nazarick
Ruins plundered by adventurers are probably abandoned Guild base transported with no players, but the world class items are kept within its treasury.
It may be impossible for other members if Ainz Ooal Gown to be here since they all hand over their equipment before logging off.
Expect for one, in the LN "three members of Ainz Ooal Gown remained that day, Momonga, Herohero(signed off before the shut down) I and?

I support this theory because I believe a theory that I heard before in another theory that the dragon emperor used wild magic to bring WCI to the new world and through this the WCI brought the players

So when transported bone daddy was sitting on a WCI Wearing a WCI and Albedo was kneeling to him with a WCI.
Theory is sound I made the same theory and in Vol14 alot more info works to confirm.

now that's out of the way honestly, if the series ended with Ainz commiting suicide upon being unable to handle the pain of a Nazarick Civil War...it be tragic, poetic and extremely fitting to the grimdarkness that is Overlord so i do aprove of the scenario (Jircniv i'm...not so sure if he aproves anymore, he seems to enjoy his free time and new best buddy greatly).

This is kind of confirmed in the novel. If not for his undead body & emotion suppresser, he would've long since bedded Albedo.
I just love these videos. They're so well made and really interesting, you get to see more of the world or a review of greater detail you may have missed. It's really helped me understand good storytelling, character building, and to use that towards my own D&D group.

I think that even if other supreme beings were to appear the npcs created by them wouldn't do much in case of a confrontation, they may hesitate due to conflicting emotions like Sebas when he was ordered to kill Tsuare, but ultimately i believe that they will chose Ainz out of free will because he was the one that stuck with them until the very end, and not only that but they understand how terrible Ainz felt when every other player left the game and he himself still stayed to keep a place for his friends to come back to. The guardians and the other npcs weren't the only ones "abandoned" and so who can relate more to their grief if not other than the supreme beign who witnessed the departure of every other creator. Their loyalty towards him doesn't only extend from him being this so called "Supreme Being" but also because they, before the game became reality, hold some kind of memory of themselves as NPCs (in another novel like this the npc describes this as watching a movie with them in it. She could see herself acting out but didn't have the ability to do anything).
I like to believe that their own loyalty and free will is going to be the deciding factor for them side with Ainz.

@@SuperboyLilly Well, it's not something I care too much about...it's probably FAR more important that Albedo 'get's some'...otherwise, she will likely snap some time in the future.
Her close proximity to the Guild Weapon + her instability = I suspect that her causing the weapon to be borken is what will eventually bring Ainz's down. That said, Ainz himself wouldn't be destroyed by that = he might still survive.

Overlord is based heavily off of tabletop games like D&D and Pathfinder. There are mechanics (at least in Pathfinder) for the making of soulless clones or other such bodies that can then be inhabited by their crafter temporarily with the Magic Jar spell. Even if something like Magic Jar isn't anywhere in Ainz's massive 700+ spell list, his nature as a chronic hoarder (described better in the light novels than in the anime) means he at the very least should have a wand of Magic Jar, or a staff that has that spell among others. He probably could satiate her as much as she desires in any number of forms that he can most likely craft and preserve quite easily with his powers as a necromancer and all of Nazarick's resources.
I enjoyed this piece of content, but sadly I must disagree with some interpretations in it. It’s debatable, but I rather had impression that Momonga’s frustrations after kiss scene were rooted not in disappointment that he somehow slipped up and let his blind desires triumph over him, but rather in dissatisfaction that he completely don’t know how to act properly in relationships with opposite sex, his overall immaturity and improper behavior that can unintentionally wound others. And prior chapter 10 it was stated among the lines that he isn’t completely uninterested in relationships, he is rather conflicted about it, so it’s not zero-chance one sided. Speaking about “loopholes”, if we assume that “characters doesn’t lies to reader” then Albedo’s dialogue with Demiurge(10 or 11 book) may be rather proof that at least to that moment her loyalty is not disputed and neither divided between “Momonga” and “Ainz”. At this point of story “Albedo strike team” is somewhat completely undeveloped and maybe even discarded plot line, so it may be either totally okay, or be total disaster(otherwise they must already visited flying castle in desert, yet we know nothing about it). At least I prefer to think that Maruyama not going to turn it into Nazarick Civil War.
Whole inner conflict with Ainz/Albedo relationships develops from fact that Ainz just cannot completely discard Albedo feelings and simply view her as employee/his friends child only. That love IS part of her personality after all, and he is responsible for it. And best part - you can make completely valid arguments about possible courses of action.
Imo, It actually interesting theme for discussion, definitely on par with “What is justice and do might makes right?”.
If result of you wishes becomes sentient being which beside other own traits and thoughts has some predestined feelings in it can you discard them as “artificial”? Yet for this person they ARE in fact real. It not simple question to answer, it’s some “Do free will actually exists?” type of thing.

If we think about it, Ainz is now partly Albedo's creator, as he edited her settings, I believe she also inherited part of his character just as the other NPCs did, that might explain how she can see through his expressionless expressions

If there is one, that might explain why he dumb lucks into having his decisions pan out well for him even though he can't conceive any better underlying logic.
Is it just me who wants Ainz/Momonga to start liking Albedo? I mean some romance is not gonna throw off the whole balance of the show since there is always this teasing stuff from Albedo.
Also, since you said Ainz thinks of Nazarick/expansion as a business, he could find it to be unfair towards the other members of Nazarick (esp the NPCs who love love him- like Shalltear) and I would not mind if it's hinted he ends up getting a harem. (although not too many people)
Ex: Shalltear, the maids - esp Yuri and/or Narberal and/or Lupusregina -, and MAYBE Evil Eye. Lol that's my personal wish for a guy like Momonga 😁

well yeah but its not like it matters as the only opponents he would realistically need it would be a real life and death battle against a dragon lord and the author said thats something not going to happen in the series. He also said that hes pretty much lost his interest in writing the series and is going to end it prematurely in just a few more volumes so much of the story that was teased at in earlier volumes will most likely get cut off.

@@josephleece682 well maybe the guy will come around but he's been doing it for a very long time and some of the things is being cut or added by the direction of the editors etc. and he has a full time job as an office clerk which is why the book is full of office jokes and getting exhausted by over work.

If i were Ainz i will tell her "I'm an undead, so forgive me for not being able to bed you, for i don't have living traits such as sexual desires, however i have a mission for you--assign an elite team to find a way to turn me into a living! That way i could fulfill your wish."
Even though there's no such thing as to turn an undead into a living, at least it will calm Albedo down, keep her busy, and keep her from conspirating against Ainz.

I see no way of Albedos plan succeeding as long as PA is in on it.

Also he understands Ainz better than anyone, and will avoid any scenario which will cause pain to this creator and FATHER.

Ainz REALLY needs to use 'Wish Apon A Star' to remove the status-link of the Guild+NPCs to the status of the Guild Weapon......if that weapon ever breaks, all of Nazarick's NPCs will die (or more likely disappear). How does Ainz not come to this conclusion?!?

@@jasminguiza6227 Uh? Ainz ALWAYS wears 1 of the rings = he can make that wish any time he wants (or thinks to do so).
Also, the only limitations for a (empowered) wish is anything doing with World Items.
Lastly, Ainz ALSO knows how to cast the 'Wish' spell.....but it costs him a lot of XP to do so.....and since gaining XP is WAAAAYYYYY harder to do in the New World, that's not something he'd want to do.

He needs to use 'Wish' to remove the broken Guild Weapon penalty from the Guild Weapon itself = even IF the weapon is broken, the guild (and NPCS) won't be destroyed.

(A) For all denizens of Nazarik, their creations & Summons to:-
(1) Use "Martial-Arts" of the New-World
(2) Acquire New "Job-classes" of both NW & Yggdrasil
(3) Acquire New levels in their Job-classes of both NW & Yggdrasil
(B) For Himself, Ainz must wish for:-
(1) Ability to gain Levels beyond Level-100
(2) Immunity from Fire & Holy elements upto at least Tier-10 Magic
(3) Immunity from Physical (Bludgeoning) Attack at least up to Level-80
(4) Ability to use Wild, Holy, Alternative, Spiritual & Sage-Arts magic without any penalties
(5) Ability to Copy, Steal, Recreate, Create, Improve & Bestow "Talents" of the New-World.
(6) Ability to acquire a "Humanoid-form" to enjoy Physical pleasures
(7) Increase all his Stats including his XP-reserves capacity by 2-times the Orignial Value.
(8) Ability to use instantly use "Super-Tier Magic" without any Cooling-Off periods & penalties
(9) Ability to use skill "TGOALID" once in a time-period of 24-hrs.
(10) Ability convert Negative-Energy in to Holy/Positive-Energy & vice-versa in a ratio of 1:2 for both cases.
Ainz's Humanoid-form must look like a 30-years Old, Handsome & Well-Built man with Eyes like Gojo-Satoru but of Red-Colour.
Ainz's face in Humanoid-form must be something he created after improving on his original face.
Ainz must only use his Humanoid-form when trying to enjoy Physical/Carnal pleasures like Eating, Drinking, Intimacy etc.
Ainz in his Humanoid-form must establish sexual-relationships with Albedo, Shalltear, Yuri, Naberal, Lupsuregina & all Homunculus-Maids.
The only human of NW that Ainz must establish Physical relationships in NW must be "Lakyus Alvein Dale Aindra"
I always wonder if Albedo and Ainz will eventually become lovers. Always imagined that Ainz will at some point confess to her that he has actually never been with a woman, maybe even telling her his real 2138 name, and she'd respond with the same. That since Ainz meddled with her settings she also never had been with a man. Would be quite tragic if Albedo actually betrays him like that, as proposed in your video, instead of the two of them really falling in love with each other.
Also I'd like to see the reaction of the NPC's to Ainz announcing that he too was once human.

I really want ainz and albedo to be together
Personally, I'd love to see Albedo's team in action in the anime (although it's so far in the future that I don't even know whether that stuff will even *get* animated, and Rubedo isn't even in the anime right now). It would be interesting to see this group against perhaps a two or even three guild members (since, come on, Rubedo AND others. potentially including Albedo herself? I know overkill is kind of the point of this team, but... that's overkill.) The players would get annihilated, but something tells me most Overlord fans would enjoy watching it, in a way. Also, bonus points if Peroroncino is taken out. Can you imagine how furious Shalltear would be at that one? On one side, you would have Albedo, who despite being less powerful than Shalltear, still would have Rubedo and the rest of the team.
Yeah maybe I'll beta will take this whole use of the name I'm So Gone as a backup to prevent people from trying to exploit his sentimentality with his feeling since the only people who actually know who his friends were wouldn't know his true name his hidden name the name that she loves rather than the name that he presents to the world.
I wonder if Ainz has a mind-control spell that he gets to experience the other person. If he could do that, then maybe experience the pleasures of the flesh with Albedo...

in the scenario where the result of his tampering with Albedo's lore lead to the death of one of his "friends", I highly doubt that the "friends" who might be killed by the "Hit Squad" would be from Ainz Ool Gown, maybe close friends of his guildmates, that had atleast visited the great tomb or have been mentioned infront of them by their creator.
since Shaltear managed to recall what Peroroncino said in front of her during when he was still playing, so let's say for a blood relative of "Touch Me" was sent to Yggdrasil and had been mentioned in front of Sebas had gone against The Great Tomb
And from here the question comes up. would Sebas betray The Great Tomb to protect this so called "Blood Relative"? since he had already gone against Ainz's orders, which also lead to the near death of entoma, although this is just speculation, would have created atleast the slightest of skepticism of his loyalty to The Great Tomb. Since he had already gone as far as going against direct orders of Ainz to uphold his Creator's Teachings, how much more for a blood relative?
Now putting things into perspective, Three Npcs have already done mishaps, Sebas, Nigredo and the Dog Maid

Finding out at least one could provide clues if other players were ported into the new world. In case some of the members also decided to log in on the last minute of the shut down.
If I remember correctly, HeroHero disconnected shortly before the game was closed. So he may have been transported to the new world.
@@elias2054 the guild members are player characters that his friends made in the D^D campaign he used to play so they will be brought up in only flash backs he doesn't feel like he has the right to write about them. In case you did not know the MC is basically a stand in for the writer he is an office worker whose friends no loner have time to play with him. That is why in the novels at least its filled with office jokes and comparisons all the time.

The original character description said she was an "oni no Onnoko" which means "Bitch" not "Slut". What Ainz needs to do is learn the Polymorph spell, so he can take on human form as Sutoro Suzuki and help Albedo to unlock the ability to ride her Bicorn mount.
Basically, his edit of her background changed her from a Tsundere into a Yandere focused on Mononga.

Personally I don’t think any other supreme beings are in the NW. if I remember right Mura stated that overlord “is the story of ainz “ and he wasn’t going to introduce other players. Of course that could change. I think what you pointed out about albedos mentality is on point, she is told to love him, but he refuses her. I think either she will have a mental breakdown. Or eventually ainz will have a mental break and forget he was ever anything other than undead. In which he will eventually give in to albedo. Yes that would make a happy ending for her. But for the NW as a whole it would be horrible. Personally I always envisioned the ending of ainz fully committing to the undead overlord troupe. Embracing world domination and albedo. Yes for us readers it would seem like a happy ending for the characters. But for the people of the NW it would be terrifying.
I think that would be a cool ending. Considering it’s mentioned a lot that ainz doesn’t feel anything when killing humans, however he still have some morals and tries to hold back. I think eventually he will lose even that.
I’m surprised he hasn’t tried to use his magic and staff to try and turn Albedos back to how she originally was.
It's complete bullshit man. Look nobody in there right mind would ever think one day I'm playing a game and then the next I'm literally that caracter in the game. Big bone Ainz here still needs to take responsibility and accept albedos love. He change the settings regardless if it was out of his control to literally become his caracter. Ignoring albedo and using the mindset of "oh its sexual harassment " is going too cause more issues in long term then any good. If it keeps up I can see albedo going mad for not being able to follow her "Gods" orders by loving Ainz. He just needs to wish apon a star and gain himself a penis for the day and just go ham. I may get chewed out for this by fellow fans, but I think Albedo is the most annoying character in Nazarick and also the most useless plot-wise, as in the story could have gone pretty much the same way without her, at least so far, though perhaps I'll think differently when she and her little death squad actually do something. But so far she's done nothing noteworthy apart from sit around Nazarick making Momonga body pillows . . ah okay, fine, I'm sure those things would be very marketable, especially with a Runecraft sponsorship, but even so, I stand by my point. Though admittedly this video puts a few things into a context I can appreciate her character a little more.
If you read all the light novels you will notice she has done alot more than just laying around playing with pillows

@@1internationalgamer she visits the re-estize kingdom to give the criminal udnerground orders to find a mind controlling device and that is basically it. the Only reason why she was added into the story and replaced Demiurge as the commander in chief was because the editor wanted a fan service character. the Author has come out several times that he really doesn't like writing female characters and it really shows they either beg him for his non existent penis or give meaningless expository dialogue.
