@@erastuskimanzi8464 HI. I don't know about Kenya specifically but if you know how to buy any crypto using metamask or crypto wallet that supports XRP, you should be alble to do it from anywhere.
First of all XRP is not taxable, it is legal Digital Currency by law in the US and it cant be taxed. Go read the court documents. Now the rest of the Digital assets may not have that legal description but XRP does.
That’s incorrect when you take it out of exchange to a us account is consider capital gains when you exchange from crypto to fiat. So you must pay income tax on your withdraw
@@miamorporcryptomonedas9628 incorrect. XRP is deemed a currency. They can't tax you for exchange currency for currency. Look at gold and silver, real money is in some states not a taxable event. @@adetorrent For a security, everything you are saying is absolutely correct. However, XRP is not a security and now has an official legal ruling stating such, so following the standard tax laws for securities doesn't really make any sense. Thank you for this comment. Experience like this gives you mental clarity. Many people don't have this experience and don't understand the cyclical nature of this market. I wish you good luck this run. It's going to be a good one. It's going to be hard to actually sell once the euphoria kicks in, but mental clarity and experience helps
@@5crassrocker I could be wrong, but I don't think that's what he meant. "Hard to sell" meaning that, with lots of euphoria, we might want to wait for higher prices before selling some XRP and taking profit. In the recent 'spike' when Ripple (for the most part) won the lawsuit, XRP traded a little higher than $1.24 CAD on the exchange that I use. In my usual investing-trading methodology, I would have sold some, but it doesn't make sense to sell any XRP at that price, considering that it could easily get to $10 CAD or more. Even at $10, it's "hard to sell" XRP, considering that it could go to $50 CAD or more.
I've been doing just xrp and silver for a couple of years or better and both move like frozen molasses in the arctic. Yet every damn day nothing but sky high predictions and they are frozen. XRP I think is different than the others. When the institutions buy in and start using XRP, the price will become stable after it rises, only 1% of XRP is retail holders. XRP also needs to be stable to be used as a bridge currency. It is also deflationary, I will most likely Hodl for a while.
