    My visors were coming loose. I went to my local auto parts store and bought new tape. The man at the store told me to heat the surface with a hair dryer before installation. He said it would help with adhesion. Thanks for the video.

    That was about one of the best videos I have ever watched on TH-cam . Great camera work, light , and diction. Excellent job and thank you. I don’t know how many TH-cam videos I’ve watched in my life, probably thousands and this is the first I’ve commented on.

    Best product for removing that adhesive or any heavy sticky product. Is Turtle Wax Label and Sticker Remover in the spray can. Never use goof off on a car unless you want to mess up your clear coat/paint job. just saying.

      Can't seem to find this product. Anyone know where it's sold at?

      @@haleyhurd1222 I was looking for some recently and I haven't even seemed to come across any. In every store I've been to, It's like they keep good product on shelf for awhile and then take it away. Because it's to good like wtf Lol. I'm sure you can buy it online though.

    Must you purchase a new guard or can you replace the weather stripping

    • @EngineeredMojo
      @EngineeredMojo  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I'd suggest purchasing a new guard mainly since you'd need to remove all the old adhesive from the guard. That could be a labor intensive process to do without damaging the visor

    Taunt (to make fun of) is not the word you want. Taut (to stretch tight) is the word you mean to say.

      Always good to learn a small nuance of the English language! I'll add that to my engineering writing skill set on my next structural engineering report :)

    I just removed all four of my AVS window vents. All I used was Mineral Spirits, a round paint brush and a rag to catch the runs. It took about 30 minutes total. The 3M 2-sided tape is near perfect and they are entirely reusable. Granted they were only installed for about two weeks, not years.

      I have to look into using mineral spirits! Probably a cheaper option

    • @FuckYourChannels

      I started on the front, driver window. Brushed on a little and let it soak for about two minutes. The I lightly started lifting it from the rear side. Once it started to lift, I applied the mineral spirits to all the windows. Back to the first window, started lightly applying up and down pressure and kept brushing it with the mineral spirits. Main trick is to not get in a hurry. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
