again, marcus cared about ginny. in the beginning he liked her because she was pretty, but as the show went on, he realized he genuinely cared about her. throughout the entire show, he checks up on her because he wants to make sure she’s ok. he done side with georgia like hunter does, he understands ginny and tries to help he work through her trauma.
Georgia literally did everything in her power to provide for Ginny and her brother and Ginny is legit just like "omg mom you're so embarrassing my life sucks boohoo"

Hunter wasn’t even great to her. All his shows of affection were like big performative things, big things in front of other people. He wasn’t properly there for her and didn’t give the support she needed when it actually mattered (excluding the essay moment, like he was never there to try to understand her family issues etc).
