If it was ever written or made into an animation, a scene must be included where Mayuri would tell Orochimaru the same thing he told Aporro Grantz about the futility to reach "perfection". That would be an absolutely peak moment to witness with voice acting on top of that!

The thing about Bleach scaling is that the characters actually pretty powerful on averagr, but the power cliffing in Naruto (especially the God Tiers) is patently absurd. That being said, Orochimaru is on one of the shorter cliffs lol, Mayuri should scale above him.

Since I said my thoughts on who wins last time, I'll do so here, and actually explain what I said about Askin.
Firstly, even without using the TYBW, Ororchimaru is screwed. Aaronierro, the weakest Espada, is Island Level, AKA stronger than nearly any and all of the Bijuu, because it is comprised of 33,000 Hollows. Just one particularly strong Hollow, a class usually mad of only about a thousand or so Hollows at absolute most, was going to nuke Karakura Town with its Cero.
*If it couldn't do this, then its threat was empty, and the characters could've just let the Cero go off and dodged.* Instead, they had to block it and send it back, because otherwise the town would have been destroyed. This is the same reason that, yes, Yhwach *does* have the power to destroy Bleach's cosmology. If he did not, then his threat was empty, and the entire war was pointless.
Szayel, is the Espada ranked directly above Aaronierro, and Mayuri defeated him. Mayuri could just full-on overpower Orochimaru, without even *using* his Zanpakuto. Also Aaronierro is roughl 33,000x FTL, Szayel is faster, and Mayuri scales. We even see Aaronierro dodge sunlight.
Bear with me, here. This next section will be a bit...text-wall-ey.
Now, as for the more concrete reason I think Mayuri wins, in the TYBW Anime, which has *the only version of the Squad Zero vs Schutzstaffel fight and thus does not have a version in the manga to supersede it as more canon,* Senjumaru shook all three worlds of Bleach just by using Bankai. To start, this is already three times stronger than Yamamoto, but depending on what you believe about Yamamoto's capabilities, it might be even *more* powerful than him. Soul Society is directly stated to be as big as the World of the Living (Note: I said *Soul Society.* What most people who haven't read Bleach (And yet argue it's 'bullet-timing, mountain-level fodder', acting as if they know everything about it from what they probably heard parroted from people who heard it from people who intentionally downplay Bleach) think of as the Soul Society is just the Seireitei, the capital city of Soul Society. Soul Society extends far beyond the Seireitei), and both have their own night skies. And yes, their night skies *are* separate. They are two *dimensions,* separated from each other by the Garganta, which in no version of the manga or anime looks like outer space. These are not two planets separated from each other by space, *they are two universes separated from each other by a massive dimensional barrier.* Hueco Mundo is the third, and Occam's Razor suggets it'd be the same size as the first two, so that's three universes Senjumaru shook just by being in Bankai.
Okay, Senjumaru's overpowered. How does Mayuri scale?
He fought Pernida. And won.
Pernida is not only the Left Arm of the Soul King (I want you to imagine the Sage of Six Paths or the Otsutsuki God losing their arm, that arm gaining sentience and keeping a massive amount of their power, and then Orochimaru fighting it. Do you see Orochimaru winning that fight?), but also one of the Schutzstaffel. It was there, right alongside Askin, when Senjumaru used Bankai. In bleach, Reiatsu determines everything. If you are stronger then your opponent, then their attacks, hax, senses, and everything else, are weaker or even useless against you. If you are strong enough, you can damage or even *kill* them just by being there. If *just* Senjumaru is Multi-Universal, while everyone else is Mountain Level (Assuming someone accepts only her with this right now and is, as the toxic vsdebaters often say, 'coping' that no one else did this), then *why does she not immediately turn everyone in her immediate vicinity to paste?* Not just the Schutzstaffel plus Haschwalth and Uryu, but also the other Squad Zero members, and Ichibei, and Yhwach, and Ichigo and his friends. Sure, her power could have been diluted by the time it reached the three worlds, but everyone *in* the Soul Palace? Why doesn't she do to them what Hogyoku Aizen did to those people in Karakura?
It's because they scale to her in power.
Askin, Pernida, Gerard, Lille, Uryu and Haschwalth are all, solely by the fact that they survived Senjumaru's Bankai (And Uryu even *killed her),* 3x Universal. You can say they're only that when using their incomplete Vollstandigs, but those can't be literal *duodecillions* of times stronger than their base forms or completed Vollstandigs. So anyone, *anyone,* who fights those Schutzstaffel members, scales to Senjumaru as well. You can say the Schutzstaffel were half as strong as Senjumaru, and that each team of captains was half each Schutzstaffel member's power. That means that Mayuri is still 1/8th the power of *3x Universal.* There are characters in Naruto I've seen be argued to also be Universal, either directly or through scaling, but I have *never* seen such arguments for Orochimaru.
Oh, and also like, Mayuri's fast enough that he can probably keep up with Majin Buu in speed, so there's that too, even ignoring all his gadgets and hax.

Orochimaru has my vote via higher(non-wanked) scaling, better regen(can heal from decapitation and getting torn in two instantly), poison resistance and superior fighting skill.
Given prep, it would be a lot more in the favour of Mayurit, but then again, Edo Tensei, Dead Reaper Seal(Which we've seen work on spiritual entities)...etc. should seal the deal.
Mayuri as a spiritual being would be poisoning orochimaru on the spiritual level, not simply the physical. Even with edo tensei mayuri can damage their souls, and orochimaru was never shown to be able to use the reaper death seal. Even so, mayuri would be able to damage the reaper. Orochimaru doesn't really have anything mayuri wouldn't be able to handle and since he'd outscale orochimaru, being a captain, he'd be taking this victory if death battle was finally able to accurately scale bleach.

Mayuri has never poisoned someone spiritually, that's just wank. Uryu is a good example. Shinigami are corporeal spiritual entities that get effected by physical phenomenon, something we've seen multiple times. Even sickness, as Hisana can attest.
Edo Tensei, even as souls, still regenerate and survive severe damage, beyond what Mayuri can.
He has used the DRS with the mask.
