And did she ever believe that Mother of Belivers is a special, honorary Title given by Allah in reference to her...? or was it simply a rebuke by Allah against Tallah for his nefarious intention against the Holy Prophet ( SAWS ) When a woman approches Aisha and address her as Oh Mothers Of Believers, Aisha immediately rejects and corrects her that she is only the mother of believers to the man.Now was Aisha ever happy of this so called title....? I agree with the points you made Sayyidna. Beyond that, I understand the verse to mean we should treat the wives as our mothers. So, suppose our own mother committed a major sin, we'd feel saddened when remembering it, and we'd pray for her forgiveness. Then we should treat Aisha in that way. At-Taubah 9:113 مَا كَانَ لِلنَّبِيِّ وَالَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْۤا اَنْ يَّسْتَغْفِرُوْا لِلْمُشْرِكِيْنَ وَلَوْ كَانُوْۤا اُولِيْ قُرْبٰي مِنْۢ بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمْ اَنَّهُمْ اَصْحٰبُ الْجَحِيْمِ English - Sahih International It is not for the Prophet and those who have believed to ask forgiveness for the polytheists, even if they were relatives, after it has become clear to them that they are companions of Hellfire. Polytheism is a greater sin and Quran orders not to ask for their forgiveness. P.S - Although i didn't found that for other greater sins

Also elevated her status so that no body has the rights to be considerable regarding any other prophet’s wife.

Why ayate tatheer is just after the ayat of ummahatul momineen ? Aren't they(wives of prophet) included in ayate tatheer?
