I think they were trying to make a new Ben with hunter because Ben is grown and more of a gentleman criminal now so I think they just wanted someone to be a complete psycho on the square but I think they realised people didnt really like hunter so they just ended it at the Vic where all bad storylines go to die

From Louise’s POV : her and Hunter practically grew up together like a brother and a sister and Mel is her godmother and Steve was her godfather.
