MEAN Pontiac G8 GT Cammed V8 Sounds!

In this video you will see a 2009 Pontiac G8 GTO making 601WHP and 758nm of torque! This car has had a lot of modifications including: Mild blower cam & long tube headers, L76 engine 6L80 trans, LSA blower 2.50 pulley, ID's 850's & ZL1 Fuel Hat assembly, ZL1 torque converter, and custom SMG motoring tune. One of the reasons I'm shopping for one now (that and it's a badass car). I've see quite a few with less than 50K on the odometer going for well over $20,000. I even saw a GXP with only 10,000 miles on it selling for $41,000 (I doubt that dealer will get that much though). Quite a good investment indeed.

A very nice example of a 2009 Pontiac G8 GT. The GTO's are pretty sweet as well. I also own an '09 G8 GT not GTO. Love the car. I'd eventually like to get that same super charger set up.

statesidesupercars this is a regular g8 6.0 litre
Gxp has 6.2 litre with adjustable suspension and brembo brakes and all gxp's are 6 spds regular g8 autos only.

The GXP doesn't have adjustable suspension, it comes with FE3 struts/shocks which are an upgrade over the FE2 setup on the GTs but they aren't adjustable. Most GXPs were 6 speed autos (6L80e), a manual option (TR6060) was available but less G8 with a man pedal were imported from Australia than were ones with the the A6. All GTs came over with the same 6L80e A6 as fitted to the auto GXPs but the GTs come stock with a 2.92 final drive as opposed to the 3.27 in the auto GXPs. The manual GXPs came with a 3.73 rear end.

@@mikestanly749 nice. Holden was founded in 1856 and yes there is along history with GM which was awesome. And yes built in Holden factory owned by GM.but the fact is these are VE Holden commodores that were taken to the USA and badged as Pontiac.
