Bands like this were once commonplace throughout America. Most small towns and rural areas had at least one that played church functions and all the fairs. I remember a band like this one who played at a grove back where I grew up. There was a band shell, ice-cold watermelon, and good hard-working Americans. Those people lived between the land and God and had only simple expectations from life. Thank you so much for this. I would love see them burn a CD.
This is the best piece of mu sic that i have heard in 30 years.I have listened 10 times and still amazed. Thank you guys for such pleasure. Reg fron nova scotia Canada
been listening for quite awhile now, music just keeps sounding better.Sure is a refreshing treat from a lot of stuff you hear now. Please dont ever quite. Reg from Nova Scotia
I am 71 and have a resonator which i have been horsing around with for a couple of years. Love Eric's playing. Wish I could play a third a well! Love this group so much!!!
So good to hear a Canadian written song on here, Theres a "Blue Bird on Your Windowsill". Was wrote by a Nurse In Childrens Hospital, Vancouver Canada, First sung by the "Rythum Pals" early/mid 45's. Also sung by the late Wilf Carter(canadain) The nurse wrote the song for about a little boy on her ward who was very ill. She died a early death. Thanks for singing it again, love your music, god bless.
Wow - each time I listen to these great musicians and watch them doing such wonderful pickin' I think of what fun it is to just hang out and jam. This old tune does truly demand the dobro, which I dearly love. All the instruments are great with their clean true sound and I have to listen to this dear old classic at least once a day. Thank you for posting. - Paula
Again I came across this video and just had to give it another look. Just watching these guys jammin' in a garage setting makes me feel right at home. I was brought up around and was either hanging out or working in one...even had one myself once. I'm disabled now and just watching your videos not only puts a smile on my face, but makes me feel as if I were there with you. 5*****s! Love the picking!!!! God Bless, Jeff
Great Job Everyone...Reminds me of when me and my Dad used to go around and jam with all his Friends when i was a Kid...I still Thank him for teaching me how to play the guitar when i was 5 yrs old...He is in Heaven now playing with Everyone up there i know...Keep up the good work and have fun!!!
My Dad at 86 just showed me one of your videos. He pointed at each of you and told me your names. I asked if where did he knew you from. "No-where", he said. He just watches all your shows. Thanks for making my Dad smile.
Just like everyone else is saying; you guys are great. Very talented musicians who can sit down and jam and keep everything together and have it sound great. I wish I could play a stringed instrument and join you. But alas, I do play a (Chemnitzer) concertina and I've learned to play songs like I'll Be All Smiles and other old favorites. I also really like bluegrass and could spend hours just listening to your videos. Thanks for the posts and keep up the great work. John N.
Thank you for your reply, just one question, what part of the world are you from. They all seem to be so relaxed, what a pure pleasure. Once again THANK YOU i love it Reg

The best music in the world, is the music that comes from the heart. This is an example of that kind of beautiful music.

Makes me sad , to think that this music , is fading away . Just look at who the musicians are . You would think that grey hair was a requirement .
Would have liked to hear vocals with this, even though the guitar work is great.
Thank you Jeff, you are very kind.
