    Amazing guy, especially if you consider he is doing all of this whilst suffering from MS himself.

    Why do people insult him and diss him so much?" Hes a doctor, priest and servant of god. He risks his life daily to spread peace. Show him some respect from the other side of the world for once and treat him with the respect he deserves. Not the average person can do what he does.

I hope you read this comment coming from a person who has lost his religion because of the division you are helping to overcome. Thank you and all the people that work with you. Thank you a million times. I will try my best to follow your footsteps.

    Thank you Vice for continuing reporting REAL news with actual Real journalists. I for one are hoping you get an actual broadcast channel, to show the so called other news agencies how its done in the 21st century. Not standing in front of a 3-4 star hotel, but actually going in the trenches, showing all sides of the story without a net. Amazing!!!

      ***** Are you being sarcastic.... Christians believe in other prophets too eg Moses, Jacob, Joseph etc, and all the old testament prophets. Jesus also spoke of prophets that will come after him. Even many Christians believe that the holy spirit can speak to them as 'random' people, so saying that god doesn't speak to random people is not very Christian, unless you don't believe that the holy spirit is part of the trinity. So anyone with basic knowledge of Christianity would not make the comment that you made.

    Thank you Vice to show how far those simple hopeless people are suffering , I can't find my tears, my heart is crying because of seeing those sub-poor humans, Sadam Husein was a great leader because he didn't forget those simple people moreover there weren't any differentiation between religions and sunni and sheiaa

    • @ryangiggsq8
      @ryangiggsq8 10 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Brush up a bit on your facts there mate. Saddam may have been a great leader for Sunnis but Shia were persecuted like crazy. They weren't allowed to celebrate their religious festivals not to mention the number of imprisoned/tortured/killed. They were also banned from visiting their holy sites I really don't know where you got that information that there was no differentiation from.

      From the U.S. perspective the "First Gulf War" is the war that occurred in 1990-91. However, the Iran-Iraq war, which took place between 1980-1988, is also known as the "First (Persian) Gulf War," which is the war she is referring to.

      they´re probably just inbred beyond belief...christians being a minority their parents might not have had too many options when it came to marriage and so forth...and I do believe that multiple sclerosis can be caused by a recessive gene from a common ancestor...but not having a medical background makes me a little unsure. They´re definitely inbred though...

      funghighlsd25records That's subjective. For some, it gives them comfort, in an otherwise hopeless situation. It's similar to telling your kids "everything will be ok" when it actually isn't. Not to mention, he believes himself, so it's not necessarily manipulative.
      Also, it's a highly religious region, only way to bridge certain gaps and get in with some is to appeal to their faith.

    Man there is one thing that makes me sad, people don't know about the power we got Yes me and You and everyone! All that is happening is because of us! If it directly cause or long away we have the power to vote and control our politicians ! But yet we don't! we like sheep we fallow the leader instead of taking the lead! Politicians represent us and our believes. Look what have they done to these people. I'm Iraqi i left Iraq since I was kid but I don't blame any religion or country for making me leaving my country I'm blaming only the people! Wake up! Stop fighting with each other We have the power to bring peace not our weapon or technology.

    My heart goes out to this poor family and I understand the desire to assign blame for such a saddening condition. However, several studies of exposure to depleted uranium and uranium ore have shown no evidence of these effects. From a medical prospective they are more likely to be suffering from fragile X syndrome.

      Plus different accents, you think the south is hard to understand? Believe me, in Afghanistan it was super hard to find the right translators for certain areas.

    • @ShakirahIbaad
      @ShakirahIbaad 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Graphics90 The accents in Iraq are not that different, just the added ch sound in most of Iraq is different to the far north on the border with Syria. Obviously Kurdish is very different from Arabic, though most Kurds speak Arabic as well. It isn't as diverse a country with accents, dialects and languages as Afghanistan is. He could even have possibly tried learning modern standard Arabic, as many Iraqis study in that form at school or they are familiar with it from TV etc. I understand that his MS may have made it difficult, but he could have learned the religious terminology better so that he could perform mass in a better way. Though seeing him giving the sacrament was quite beautiful and simple and it was interesting hearing the words said in simple Arabic.

    • @Graphics90
      @Graphics90 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for that, I didn't know that about the language cultural in Iraq. I was shocked to find (and frustrated) how different accents were seemly everywhere in Afghanistan.
      I must say though i found it touching for some reason as i watched him and you could see that Islam does play a role in his life still, for the prayer beeds that he holds alot, are very similar to the rosary we use, but not the same. They do look a lot like the same ones the imams held in Afghanistan. I often think its sad to see these places where often faiths are intermingled and live in a better relationship then in most places of a modern world

      +Lord Trikore a lot of the tribal dialects of arabic are not mutually intelligible, not to mention that many tribes do not speak arabic at all.
      it is also better to have perfect translation from a trained translator than to approximate.

    Its beyond sad watching this. The Christian minority.. My own flesh and blood living in such horrific conditions. While I live in a country so blessed with freedom. Jobs, clothes, TV, entertainment.. My Assyrian people are living in Arab Muslim held areas. They are caught up in a civil war between sunni and Shiite extremists. Iraq is not there country. They fight there religious beliefs on foreign lands. Iraq is not Iraq. Its bet nahrin. Its Assyria. Its my country.. My land, my home. The land of my great grandfather. The land of my family. My people are enriched in the history of Assyria. We didn't claim morden day Iraq with a bible. Weather it be the Koran or the holy bible. We were there before the books were written. We played a part in those books written. We are mentioned in those books more so then any other entity. We are the cradle of civilization. We are the middle east. We believe in Jesus. We believe in peace. We don't kill in the name of religion. Jesus spoke our language. We will one day have our peace. There will be a judgment day and that day. There will be only one. Jesus not Mohammed. Jesus!! And for all the executions, the beheadings!! Jesus will tell you Muslims.. You lot got the story twisted!! There is not 40 virgins waiting when you get your "shahada" here. There is only purity and love to people who tried there best here on earth to live life the best possible way they could.
