No bullshit, it's straight cut to the chase on how to zero gap the trimmers, easy step-by-step solutions and what to do if things goes wrong. Easily my favourite TH-camr for the barber section. This guy is pure authentic!!
Definitely have those trimmers I got mines to hit by just changing the cutting blade with the Andis cutting blade and it zero gapped perfectly. Great video good brother
@@kaisebay4109 not too sure what blade I use I kept the original top Blade the only blade I changed was the bottom cutting blade and I'm not too sure what bottom cutting blade I use it was definitely a Andis
Hi there, your video is very well explained!!! I'm thinking to buy one KEMEI trimmer. I'm not a barber it's for my beard but I know I want zero gap and I want guard guides. So I'm between 1931 and 5027...on both I can think to change blade. What Do you think?
Thanks for this great tip to save money and at the same time have a reliable trimmer with an awesome blade! Is the that the new Andis blade? The GTX-EXO blade?
Wadup bro , been off the barber vids for a few years but im back after my old setup needed to be upgraded as a selfcut home barber ( Andis Masters corded and Wahl Deatailers corded) . I copped this after doin some research only thing is i got the philthyblendz mod for the adapter to use the og gold fx's on it. Will let u know if it hits getting all parts next week. I also copped that Kemei 1763 and added the Wahl fade blade on it..been crunchin shit left n right because that magnetic motor makes it hittt. All in all both setups prob only ran me $120 combined
@@kikado3 *update: I had to do some maguyvering to get them to hit ngl. I didnt have that hex tool u need to remove the fx screws to zero gap so had to grab one rl quick from harbor freight. The cam follower i took off because like u said if u squeeze that spring too much it kinda fks it up. But finally got it working nicely..only gonna use it to pull lines on lineups and let my 229 be the bulk reduction workhorse for fades. Would be cool if u keep trying out some budget joints bro that way can just swap to good blades and save money while also supporting industry guys like phillthyblendz
These cut me when I zero gap them (100% sure the blade doesnt overlap). Any idea why that is? Tried it on my arm , each time it cuts when pressured little.
I just tried to replace the kemei 2299 blade with the corded andis t outliner blade. The kemei blade drive and bracket assembly does not fit the andis blade.... Help
Exactly, all he did was show us that it was possible in which we already knew. It makes no since as to why u wouldn’t show us how u did it, dumbest shit ever..
Bro, I got a pair coming. So are you saying just zero gap the Andis GTX Blade the regular way with the mirror and then put it on? I was thinking should I do that
It comes with a black guard on the bottom with a little spring in it just take the black guard get some sandpaper or you put on the concrete outside and just rub it till it gets real thin so you can just put it on top of the Andes bracket and just put it on
Hey man I have vgr 192 and I put the gtx expo gold blade and that thing hits idk if it’s the same trimmer as this kemei bro but I think it is but I could be wrong.

Got mine. And zerod it out. The blade is definitely holding it back .
These are amazing trimmers once you put the andis blade on them.
Bestbomg/vgr/audoc/kemei 1931 are all the same.
The battery life is decent too
Thank you for the tutorial bro!!! These do hit! Thank you!
If they made the zero gap feature that the regular andis had for these man oh man would these be some HEAT
No lie lol
Hello, which blade did you use, can you tell me the exact model?

Thanx for the mod
good video Ricardo.... the Kemei 1931 gets even crazier with the eliteclippermod Babyliss FX bracket! The thing hits!
it‘s the same thing this doesn’t make it hit more

Can you put the andis blade on the kemei 2299? We need a video of that one also
I’d have to check into it.

Did you change the cutting blade?
He should the cutting blade will cut people
Bro just zero gap it the regular way put it back on there and just leave the springs out they don't hv to be in those little holes
Those springs are the only thing holding the blades together. Still needed

the motors on those kemei are much too weak for any serious work.
