Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

Multiplayer monday idea: A race with planes but...in tunnels, kinda like the underwater caves you found today. So You can't just bild something fast, you'll need to think in dexterity.

that isn't a worm, its a type of arthropod seeing it has legs and a exoskeleton, mot likely a giant version of a ancestors of the millipedes, also you can see a lot of giant eggs(blue with big purple circles) around the area it's found.

Would like to see a speedboat to cut through the Waves or a big ship to sail in those Huge waves at the end of the map.
Yeah a speed boat that has a light payload (maybe 2 tractor beams max) and is incredibly fast and agile just to explore the map. Also, I feel like bc of the way the game is, sailing those giant waves would be close to impossible
i'd love it if trailmakers let you look round in the seat instead of zooming out, i think that would be really cool

@Vinz Gaming not really. you can go in first person, but you cant look around the cockpit while in first person
This is something the devs are looking to implement very soon
Do a egg drop challenge where you need to protect a seat with 100 blocks (sails as parachute, suspension etc)

Recommendation for next episode: Make a seaplane and skim over the water to uncover unexplored areas.
Stupid idea: build a glider to use the super fast wind to your advantage. :)
Another idea: make a giant helicopter right over the vortex and have a indestructible seat on either pistons or a cable and lower your self into the vortex
This is a very cool series. Idk what it is about water, but that was probably the most scared I've been watching a Scrapman video.
This map is really missing some kind of underwater predator, that will attack you :D

the sea slug looking thing looks incredibly simmilar to the ohms from "Nausicaa valley of the wind" (studio Ghibli film)
You should try making a sailboat that stabilizes using a hiking system.

@@kanynbullington4087 it's how smaller, single-person sailboats stabilize. The sailer just leans out of the side of the hull to counteract the pushes force of the wind on the sails.

21:20 You literally captured the glowing piece of gold on camera. Every time you repair inside the vortex, you get a little closer to it.. This is 1 of the 100 gold chests. You can also use the spectator mode to confirm what I just said.
Scrapman. I remember the old”ish” evolution videos you made with kan and Kosmo and I thought that you guys should do a Parachute evolution where you guys slowly increase the complexity and the weight underneath the parachute hoping to cause as least damage on impact. You can use the sails. I’m not sure hop effective it would be but I think it’d be entertaining
The high seas update is where scrapman is just telling us his past and I love it.

When scrapman went to the underwater map edge I got terrifying flashbacks to subnautica

What if you took some wings, angled them to be a propellor, and then used sideways sails to create a vehicle that flies upwards using the wind at the vortex? I imagine it might just simply topple over sideways or the such, but it could be cool if it works.

When he was out off the map made me so scared and gave me anxiety for no reason. It was so terrifying and ominous. It was like he was surrounded by an infinite void.

You should make a Sub with sails and see how far out you can make it getting launched like that
how cool would it be if after you grab all the artifacts, a giant beast breaks free from the ice and you have to make a vehicle to fight it and otherwise you cant return to the sub zero

The first skeleton scrapman saw in the ice cave kinda looks like one of a Mosasaurus skeleton. also scrapman, judging on what you saw while going off the edge on the map in the sub, why dont you get your sub, attach a few large sails to it, go far out in the cornner, then open up the sails, and fly in a submarine.
Remember your parachute? You can make it better with the sails
I think what you should do is design a new 3-in-1 vehicle every like 3 episodes. Have one designed as more of a bus that can sorta fly and be a sub, and then later a jet that can dive and has small land wheels, just mix it up

You should upscale your content to 2160p. TH-cam is really cheap with Bitrate at 1080p and more generous at 2160p.

The best way to get in the vortex is using a very small plane and maneuvering your way into the middle.

I finally made a ship that sails up wind efficiently. The only problem is turning the boat parallel when changing direction upwind.
I got an idea to use a forward sail to catch the wind turning the ship. Just thinking up how to implement the system.
Look at the positions of the Skull of A'Tuin, the Mighty Mushrooms and the Abyss. I wonder if there's a pattern there that could lead you to more spawn points... If not, then there's still the Mighty Mushrooms to explore.
A Hovercraft would also be great at quick exploration
I've never seen a mythical sea worm other than Charybdis but I could imagine the worm is based off Scylla since she has connections to Charybdis
The icy area reminds me of subnautica below zero and the abyss reminds me of the dunes biome in original subnautica and the worm remind me of the sand worms in no man's sky

the things at sub zero hq i think are from the vortex tentacles. because the power things coming out also are kind of facing the vortex. so it would make sense. like, perhaps the vortex is helping power it??
Imagien if you like had to ride to underwater creature down the vortex to enter some kind of secret place or you name it. That would be epic!
Also not a worm it's got a bunch of legs. I'd like to know what it's based on. Also, you have gold, you can make a video on new accessories of the dlc
