The bike YOU want! They all operate the same. Do dumb things, dumn things happen. Take your time and be safe. Lane splitting and group rides are when ishhh gets out of hand. Share the road, you dont own it. Remember you are faster than the traffic around you but are the most vulnerable. Ride safe!

600cc is not that fast lol 600cc is equal to like a Honda type R. Honestly you can start on any cc if you know how to ride a bicycle and know the basics of a manual transmission. I started on an r1 back in 2010 with no experience

But the one i drive now while taking the license is a Yamaha fzr 600 1990. I really dont care what other thinks about driving a 600, it was my dream bike and i love it :)

Ive been conflicted on what to get and recently fell in love with the Cbr600rr. Im 6'1 "and have been driving manual since i got my license almost 4 years ago, so i have a really good concept on how a clutch and shifting work. I think i might just go for it, honestly. Im gonna keep it below 10 or even 8k rpm for a decent bit

when looking for my first motorcycle, i was open to a lot of things, highly preferred a trike that can hold a lot of weight, cause i haul things a lot, i was selling my SUV i couldnt afford or need. but them trikes were too high for my budget, and most 600s have the desired weight to carry a lot, but its my first and I just couldnt. I did get my navi though c: 2023, 109cc.. not the fastest but it's very fun, it can carry enough for moderate grocery shopping (around $100 worth of random stuff that isnt watermelon huge) .. it's a great first experience to get enough before riding on something larger. I dunno how long itd take me to be comfortable on 1000cc+, but i was crazy to consider a honda goldwing xd silverwing is cool too though but don't see many of those.
that white bike is really cool, I think my next bike will be a rebel 500 or something 600+ I'll save up eventually :)

I’m 6’1/6’2 250lbs not a fat 250 just a solid athletic built guy and my issue with a 400 is being bigger than a lot of ppl and being uncomfortable. I plan to go sit on a few bikes BUT I feel a 600 will be best for me to start on as I’m in my 30s don’t have a need for speed just wanna ride I have for along long time but our other priority’s ahead of riding. Also I don’t wanna suffer the pains of buying a 4/500cc bike and have difficulty selling it to upgrade. I checked my market place here around my city and it’s flooded with those sized bikes and smaller many ppl desperate to get rid of theirs and I see that as both good but also a very bad thing. Budget wise I’d rather take the money I’d spend on a smaller bike then upgrading to a larger bike and simply use it to get a 600 and take the remainder to invest in track days and any other riding courses. Our city streets are kinda trash and it illegal to lane split here and obviously stunt riding I.e wheelies spinnig tires as well so it’s gonna b cruising around just enjoying the vibes an exploring cause I’m not originally from here so it would be great to have to burna cpl hours on here n there

Ok so first I am 37 yrs old and 6ft 275 lbs. I have road my roomate's bike like 10+ years ago a few times. He taught me the basics and how to shift and stop. I come from a background of craigslist civics and few other cars. Did small mods and worked on them myself. I do love to go fast and I have been told I take corners fast. How ever I only do things in my car that I know how it works and will act. I was going to get a Ninja 400 non abs as my first so after a year or so I could make the 400 my track bike and then get a 600 or something. However with the Ninja 500 coming and all these other 400 ish bikes coming I have no idea what to get. I also kind of want to just save up for my dream bike Ninja 2024 Zx6r 636. Side note when I road his bike and learned I was terrified and always thought we were going faster than we were at first, so I defiantly have a respect for the bike and its ability to be bad quickly. Also since I am a bigger guy I don't know how a Ninja 500, Aprilia rs 457 or something like that would do with my weight. I don't need super 1000 speed but I want the safety of being able to get out of a bad spot.

Your R6 is nice, I love that white on white. It sounds really good. Your video is on point and I totally agree with your point of view. I was a young Marine in 1981, and a total car guy with no interest in bikes. My first duty station was 29 Palms in the Mohave Desert, Southern California. I couldn't get financed for a car so I got a bike. I'm 5'4" so I bought 250 Yamaha Exciter. It was a cruiser with a low seat so I could flat foot it. My first 2 cars had sticks I just asked the salesman what levers did what and rode it around the parking lot. It came natural to me. I was nervous on the highway for the first half hour, after that, I was fine. In 3 weeks I wanted something bigger. I had the 250 for 3 months before I got something bigger and if I had started on a 600 like yours, which is as fast as a 1000 back then, I'm sure I would not have ran it into something 😂. Great video. I subscribed and liked. Be safe Bro!

23 y/o here. Started riding 4-5 months ago on a ninja 300. I rode with a group with a couple guys who started maybe 4-5 months before me. Both on 600s, Both could not handle their bikes. one ended up sending his bike into a ditch. Learn the basics. Learn to corner and maneuver the bike. Everybody who’s telling you you’ll get bored just wants to go fast. Enjoy the ride and be safe. A 636 is a monster bike for a beginner. I’ve ridden an r6 and probably will not get on another 600 for awhile. Everything is great until a deer runs out in front of you and you can’t properly move the bike around

No shame in starting small. All of the best riders I’ve met have gone through the progression. No matter how much you say you’re going to respect the bike, throttle response, cornering, and a whole plethora of other factors are much more unforgiving on those bigger bikes. Just my two cents

I started on a gsxr 600 been riding for a couple years now and I’m fine. Just take it slow. My first 2-3 weeks I barely left the neighborhood. Just practice using my clutch and breaks. Get used to shifting a bit. Stopping at stop signs or lights on low speed streets. Go to empty parking lots. When you feel comfortable practice on main roads. Hit the highway when you feel comfortable. If you respect it you will be okay

you're either competent or not , no difference between 600 , 300 , 1000 crash , if you don't understand physics you're going to die , on 600 at least you'll be more focused and aware so I'd argue you're going to be a safer driver
besides skill ceiling is much more pronounced so you will be more aware of how physics work since you have more engine to experience physics , if you roll throttle 100% on 300cc you won't learn much , if you roll throttle 100% on 600cc you might slide rear tyre or you might not , and you will get a lot more information on how motorcycles work thats the main difference.
you can learn a lot more.

The first sport bike I’ve rode was a r1 and I’m 17 but I plan on atleast getting something 600cc plus I have like 12 years of motocross experience is this a bad idea?

I’m 5’8 1/2 and looking to get a 600cc I’m guessing I should be tall enough? Don’t really have a need for speed & plan on taking a bikers course

Does having a manual car as a daily mean anything when learning how to ride? I know that the operation is different in comparison to a motorcycle but the understanding of how a clutch work should be an advantage. I'm curious if that could theoretically allow me to start on a 600 without any other 2-wheel experience besides mountain biking.

Is it a good choice to go from 2 years on a 125ccm to 600cc?

@@RoyalRsix money. registrations are too expensive on sport bikes especially it went up a lot in just a few years. I miss it a lot obviously sold it to a young 20yo he was so hype he even called me the same night telling me how he’s going to take good care of it happy it’s in good hands

Hey man! I’m 15 as well and also trying to get my first bike too. I’ve dirt biked for a long time, so I’m probably going to get a 2024 zx6r. Where are you at? I can’t get my permit until 16, so I’ll just have to ride on private property.
