SBB does NOT work for dodge or Chrysler. Whenever it says ECU not found means the vehicle is not supported. Those SBB junk. Dodge/Chrysler dealers charges about $280 for fobik key to program so don’t think you gonna buy $80 device to do that job. Unfortunately there’s no laws require the dealership to give you free keys for your own car that you bought from them.
@@TRCCtv I was ready to return it. My luck was that it worked from the beginning. Then I had a constant Ecu not found error. Untill I noticed that it worked with the battery car fully charged - that is the idea. I did not use a battery charger and the engine is stopped so the voltage is around 12V. Now it works constantly.

Not with this tool. As you can see, the function that is listed doesn't have any programming to back it up. However, eventually a new key was made by a locksmith who bought the code through what I believe was a NASTF SDRM connected service like Autocode.us for $90 (not sure if that's the actual service she used. I've since discovered that you might be able to get the needed PIN code for free from a Dodge dealer (although I doubt they'll program it for free). I bought a replacement FOBIK key (non-OEM) off Ebay and it worked fine, although the locksmith said she said she'd never seen one like it. The actual programming she did was done with an AutoProPad, a tablet-like tool that is certainly much more expensive than the SBB programmer tool featured in this video. She then used a tool called a Lishi tool to pick the lock (which I believe is a double sided/bitted wafer lock) which she explained had 8 wafers (4 on the top and 4 on the bottom) alternating in an even-odd-even-odd manner (i.e. wafer 1 on top, wafer 2 on bottom, etc.). The Lishi tool gave her a gauge measurement of how high each pin had to be lifted. This was rated on a 1-4 scale, with 4 being the greatest depth of the cut key, and 1 being the cut of least depth. From this she generated an 8 digit number made up of digits 1-4. This 8 digit number was fed into the lock cutting machine, where she cut a new key for us on the spot. It was an interesting education for me, so I thought I'd share it here for others who wonder about this sort of thing.

SOLVED - you must have the car battery full (voltage over than 11.5 volts).
