Hey any idea what grade your driveway is? Ours has an 8 degree slope and I'm wondering if it's worth getting the weights, chains, and blower attachment
I'll look into that. It's pretty steep. The chains were a good move. The blower adds a lot of weight to the front end so going up the hill without them can be a little rough. The weights probably made more of a difference than the chains, but it wasn't very icy last winter. I'm glad I had both.
Please let us know what that spout cable management "hoop" is all about. The clip provided with mine causes the cable to bind up. If you have a link, that would be great. Thanks!
I see what you are saying the other one's I have looked at have that real tight fitting there. It must be something my local dealership adds on because they know that it binds. They are closed right now, but I will call them and ask. It looks similar to something like this. amzn.to/4fkLq0M
@@SilverWebHomestead Thanks. That would be great if you could ask them. I saw those on Amazon, but they seem small and are sold in large quantities.
@@SilverWebHomestead Did you have any luck finding what part your dealer added to prevent the chute cable from binding? Really interested in adding it to my setup. Thanks.
Hey! Thanks for checking back in. I am gonna try to call them this Saturday. They are closed by the time I get out of work and they close at noon on Saturdays. If you want to give them a shout before that, the place its called Hutson in Gaylord Michigan. If you find out before I do, please let me know!
Please let me know in the comments if you have any questions.
