I very much enjoyed this episode. The 'future kids' have so much chemistry, and their banter is always spot on!
I LOVED seeing the Enterprise and its crew in animation. SO well done, it looked absolutely incredible!

This was a much better episode than I was even hoping for. Also the first time ever I hit skip intro as I wanted to see the episode so bad and then noticed the animation so had to scan back to watch it.

This episode was incredible!! I'm so happy they didn't just settle with having it be a comedic crossover episode with references. It really provided the Enterprise crew with much-needed reassurance after everything they've been through so far this season. Knowing that Una becomes associated with Ad Astra per Aspera made me really misty-eyed. Glad to see someone reacting to this show!

Huhuhu! I too laughed cried and squeaked! So many random easter eggs too! My fave was the callback to the other time travel occurrences! Also the Enterprise guys geeking out about Archer and his crew. But also teared up at the end with the Orion captain! Huhuhu 😢😢😢

5:03 now that the Enterprise has an animation model, I think it’s gonna show up in LDS. I saw a couple of scenes in the trailer set on Voyager’s bridge. I’m guessing they’re going to the fleet’s museum this season.

They should do the animated series version of Star Trek: Strange New World because Star Trek: Lower Deck is becoming successful so it wouldn't hurt to do another animated series version of Star Trek.

Just to answer your question: Trelane was a character from TOS episode "The Squire of Gothos." Captian Kirk and his crew were the ones who had to deal with him. He had the same powers as Q did, but they encountered him in the 23rd century.

13:53 - the Trelaine thing is a reference to the TOS episode "The Squire of Gothos" - people have theorized that the god-like character was Q. Or that Q was based on Trelaine.

Fun fact: this episode (in the 24th century, at least) takes places between the DS9 and Peanut Hamper episodes of Lower Decks Season 3.

When I started to watch this episode and I saw that it was animated, I was about to stop watching it because I do not like any star trek in form of animation, but for some reason I decided to give it a chance. Well, to my surprise I really enjoyed the episode especially when Spock gives those famous words "Live long and prosper"at the end. Incredible episode. I don't know a thing about the Lower Deck, and if you like and enjoy the animations, more power to you.
I’m glad you stayed through it! Honestly Lower Decks really grew on me, especially with the level of deep fan cuts they have. But yes, it’s definitely one of those “your mileage may vary” type of things!

I think for Tendi, it may have gotten harder due to the Orion side of things.. for Rutherford, I think it would’ve been complicated with all his future tech out in the open haha. I’m glad they just kept it to Boimler and Mariner though, or else it would’ve been utter chaos 🤣🤣🤣🤣

This Spock couldn't be hot even if you set the Enterprise on Fire! As for mariner. I wanted to toss her out the nearest airlock, she is so Damn annoying you just want to stun her with a phaser at close range. like literally against her forehead. Other wise the episode was cool.
