I lived in Eugene for 27 years, had never seen such a wonderful logging history. One thing I remember is the beauty of the Mckenzie the water was always so clear and pretty.
@@ralphaverill2001 I worked trees in the redwoods for 7 years, luckily I was in my early 20's, and in the best shape of my life. The very hardest job I've ever had.
So lets stop ALL home building up the McKenzie before it turns into Santa Barbara. Sadly its looking like that already.....Don’t visit, and don’t stay!

IT'S UNFATHOMOMABLE TO REALIZE HOW HARD THIS WORK WAS!
Yeah, not a lot of obesity in those lumber camps.

Well done. Thank you.
Great video and narration! Thank you!
Good job Bob
That’s the time my grandpa worked for booth and Kelly. He and my uncle were a timber falling pair .
Cool video.
Man I wished they had vintage film footage of people cutting down giant sequoia and redwoods
I was just up to McKenzie last week looking at the devastation from the wildfires. Looks like a post-apocalyptic scene.
Love it. Thankyou
