मैं हूं यहां साधारण लिखाई में,
जो सिर्फ हाल-ए-दिल को शब्द दे पाते है
तुम हो वहां असाधारण तजुर्बों में,
जो महसूस करने पर निशब्द कर जाते हैं
मैं हूं सड़क के इस पार झोपड़े में,
जहां कमरे को ही मकान कहते हैं
तुम हो उस पार एक महल में
जहां झूमरों पे भी हीरे लगे रहते हैं
मैं हूं किसी ट्रेन के भरे हुए डिब्बे में बैठा,
जहां सांस नहीं ले पाते हैं ख्वाब सारे
तुम हो किसी कुएं के पास
जहां सिक्के उछालने पे पूरे हो जाते हैं सपने
मैं हूं एक cubicle में बैठा ,
जहां पर घड़ी के बंद होने पर भी कोई नहीं रुकता तुम किसी झूले पे बैठी हो
जहां वक़्त सिर्फ बदलता है रंग आसमान के
मैं हूं अंधेरे में
तुम हो उजालों में
मैं हूं सवालों में
तुम हो जवाबों में
मैं हूं हर सच में
तुम हो हर उम्मीद में
पर, क्या सच में हर उम्मीद अच्छी होती है?
तजुर्बे तो जंग की भी वजह बन जाते हैं
और महलों में रिश्ते, दीवार से बटते हैं
सिक्कों का नसीब भी पलटता है
और जो वक्त गुजर जाए
वो बस, बस बर्बाद ही लगता है
जो इच्छाएं हकीकत से नफरत करवाती है
सच होने पर वो इच्छाएं हकीकत सी चूभ जाती है
जो पाया ही नहीं उसके सुकून में क्यों जी रहे हो
और जो है पास उस पर सवाल क्यों उठा रहे हो
ये कौन से कल से हमने उम्मीद लगा के रखी है कि जिसकी वजह से हमने अपने आज से ही झगड़ा कर लिया है
तो इसलिए जब तुम और मैं
ना सही है ना गलत
तो हम दोनों, एक क्यों नहीं?

why does she have to be such an object i like the part about the dreams but again objectifying inst love, exaggerating boring cubicles and personifying someone out of reach only leads to sorrow and hopelessness . I liked the your older works when it used to just about love and not hovering objects.. you can be much more creative if you stop playing so safe bud like diamonds seriously ! ! ik pep who like their g shocks more than a bling rock, love is not being out of reach. If u ever run out of words u find a dictionary and not putting up objects in her name, switch languages maybe : )
It's very personal and depends upon an individual how he/she wants to describe their love through words. May be he's more into diamonds than his gshock so she is as precious as it to him. When people in love says you're my whole world and all these dreamy things it's too one kind of objectifying. Love is not same for everyone. It's not out of your league but it is to some of the people . Not defending him but it's fine to have some differenciation between two kind of thoughts specially when it comes to love.
