Mr James Crab Robinson, mr Romani e mr. Malavasi, grazie per sempre di aver cantato e composto canzoni come queste: Inimitabili, favolosi, anche dopo tutti questi anni. E grazie a O.D.C. che fa risentire queste canzoni, grazie ancora
I don't know if it's the arrangement of the music, the meaning of the song or James's voice.. but every time I listen to this, it reduces me to tears. It's just too beautiful to put into words.
I completely get you. It really is beautiful, it's an atmosphere of pure magic dancing and love that sadly doesn't exist anymore. The world is just too dry and ironic for this sort of thing to ever happen again!
James Robinson, to me, probably one of the best, unknown, albeit still greatest, early 80s singer/vocalist ever... Check out, too, when he went solo and made his 1st album... Well, I had bought on vinyl and I had still liked it and still have it...🎵🎧😀🙏
I loved this album. The vocal on this is top notch and it is the classic Change sound they adopted once they decided they didn't want to be limited to the dance music genre. I would describe their sound after "The Glow of Love" album (still my favorite due to its killer dance music cuts and Luther Vandross vocals) as polished, radio-friendly, up-scale R+B with a tasty dose of Nile Rogers-influenced funkiness. However, they did give us one more dance-floor monster track on this album, a churning fireball called "Paradise". And yes, not that it matters, I do hear the bass-riff to "Ain't No Stoppin' Us Now" in this cut but it works fine... If you like this track you might also like their new release "Love 4 Love" as well. It's gorgeous stuff.
Definitely has a heavy Chic influence w/ that Nile Rogers style guitar going. James Robinson's impeccable vocals if you'e going to replace Luther Vandross he'd be the one to do it. Not known by many but one of the best to ever do it.

MsCharlieBrown78 (Charlie Rae) Yep like I said not Luther on lead vocals, Luther is doing backing vocals on this one. Such a great track one of my faves from them :)
Believe it or not. The original singer is the great Luther Vandross. Although this track is played by James ''Grab '' Robinson, who sings very very similar to Vandross.

James kills it and owns it. I can't imagine anybody else singing this song. Not even the great Luther

I heard that he made this song in dedication to his then newborn baby girl which makes it all more poignant.

these vocals blow anything away today why is this? man makes me rethink this thing called life. who knew Italy was doing all of this.
Look for Luhter Vandross music, he is the singer in this song. You won´t be dissapointed. Best reggards my friend

Amazing funk track.....good job guys !!
Musica meravigliosa intramontabile
La meilleure version 81❤❤❤
Linda quero ouvir toda vida linda linda
thank you for this good quality
The bass reminds me of Ain't No Stoppin' Us Now - McFadden & Whitehead.
The bass player is Davide Romani. an italian bass player who used to work with Mauro Malavasi. He asembled this project
Has that "Ain't no stopping influence "
My good old NEW YORK CITY days
Absolutely! Well spotted
The bass does have a bit of that McFadden & Whitehead for sure.

Luther Vandross sang like Patty Labelle and Aretha Franklin. He made Michael Jackson sound like an ameture.
