as far as infrastructure and standard of education is concerned , this is THE best medical college in india . the only government colleges that come close (sort of ) are AFMC , pune( not really a govt. college, as it is funded by the army) and JIPMER, Puducherry. AIIMS delhi has uninterested , underqualified professors who would not have made it , if it weren't for reservation. all state colleges have a crappy rural bond. and you have to pay the state govt. money if you don't serve in villages for 2 or 4 or 5 years( depends on the state) . the bond money for Uttarakhand for example is 2.5 cr. for Maharashtra it is 50 lacs. My elder sister made it into AFMC in 2018 , at that time the bond money was 28 lacs. but sadly ,this year they are planning to increase it. TBH it makes more sense going to a private college. at least you'll have better living conditions.
I am currently a student at DOC Manipal...missing the college so much...this video reminds me of the similar buildings n the central library which is amazing too....hope to get there soon again!!

@@guptaa_ji This year you should score 590-600 for KMC. In 2019, closing rank was 25K (542 marks). In 2020, closing rank was 35K (572 marks). Fee has been increased again, in fact it's higher than the hike b/w 2019 and 2020. In 2019, fee was 58.5L for 5 years, in 2020 it became 64 Lakh , now it's close to 71L for 2021 lol. Rank would dip, but as NEET 2021 cutoff would increase 600+ would be safe for KMC. AIQ Govt colleges may sail for 630-640 marks.
If you get good marks in NEET, you are eligible for scholarship here, and for continuing that scholarship throughout your mbbs, you have to maintain a minimum percentage of 75% in all your 4.5 years. At my time cutoff was 635 marks for scholarship.
The admitted students list is given on KMC's website. You can check from there. She got close to 560 marks in NEET 2019. Around 20K AIR. Which is equal to 600 marks in NEET 2020. Damn inflation!
