sir how can you say that everywhere the air gap is same, on the basis of diagram you made the upper side where there is no pole means it won't produce any flux means we are not supposed to talk about that area on contrary we should talk about only that particular stator poles where there will be flux produced henceforth we should check out how much air gap would be there while changing the position of rotor
