The reality is, mentality plays a bigger role today, in terms of the threat he/she opposes to western culture, ideals, values, and business. For example, a black or brown Hip-Hop artist singing or rapping about pills, cars, clothes, degrading and sexually objectifying women, etc, are depreciating assets to them... used to distract, degrade, delude and pacify, and socially condition the upcoming youths...... even if once in a while they do put out something real, it's strategic. These people have been studying our minds and observing our behaviors for decades. It's strategic. Playing with our emotions. They know a song addressing issues sensitive to us will reel us right back in. Yet at the end of the day, the bad influence the artist has on young, impressionable, still-developing minds, far outweighs the good. #ItsBiggerThanHipHop🧠
