Honestly you could say he's a slime with a quirk and have his quirk be either predator or whatever the first version so ciel was (I think it was "geat sage" but I'm not sure) or it could even be the part where he accidentally customized his reincarnation when he died

I don’t want to act That guy or anything, but I would kind of assume the characters you used would know it would be some sort of war or something. Due to All the soldiers were wearing armour and they knew was a king of his own nation. These aren’t some teenagers. They have very high IQ to even become heroes so I would be able to gamble that they would be able to piece things together
