It makes total sense to me..the sabbath was written at the beginning of all creations...and what God had done on that day...its all written..so it would of been held before Christmas his Son..and never to Change..I love the way the lord takes baby steps to help us get to just were here wants us to be..just Beautiful❤
Because the Sabbath is important to God, it is important to me. Without trying to recreate the Law, I chose to honor my God by honoring the Sabbath. I do no work or commerce on Sunday. From 6 pm Saturday evening to Sunday evening at 6 pm, I do no housework or yard work, no arts or hobbies or shopping (buying). During this time, beginning Saturday evening, I study my lesson for Sunday school. Sunday, I go to church. Afterwards, I minister to others, and spend the day in ways that honor God by serving others.
Why does God call keeping Sabbath a perpetual covenant? If keeping Sabbath holy is no longer valid, are the other 9 Commandments also null and void? You don’t honor the Sabbath because you don’t want to honor ( or obey) God.

God always said, “ the first day of the week”. The days were numbered, not named. When you celebrate the Sabbath is not as important as keeping a day of Sabbath. Some priests had to work on the Sabbath. Some police, nurses, etc have to work on the Sabbath. Christians observe Sunday as the Sabbath day. Honoring the Sabbath as a day of rest and worship is one of the Ten Commandments and should be obeyed.
God made the Sabbath day Holy. Sunday was not made a holy day. We can worship God at anytime, however, we can not make a day holy. We are not "under" the law, when it comes to salvation. The law was given so we would know what sin is. We would never say it is ok to lie, commit murder, etc., because we are saved by grace alone. Dear people, we are not to judge one another concerning "A" Sabbath day If you want to worship on Saturday or Sunday; be SURE that the Church is built by Jesus Christ, and not by men. . If you will study "first fruits", Christ fulfilled the OT first fruits to be raised from the dead on the first day of the week. The grain offering, aka first fruits offering was waved before the Lord on the First day of the week. There is no edict by god, it just said he rested and sanctified the event... nowhere is he giving any command or law at that point. That is reading into the text like HRM does constantly.

On the Biblical lunar-solar calendar, each lunation (or lunar month) always begins with a New Moon day, which is in a class of worship day all by itself. Six work days follow on the second through seventh of the month. The seventh-day Sabbath always falls on the 8th, the 15th, the 22nd and the 29th of every lunar month. Scripture itself supports this calendar configuration. Every time the seventh-day Sabbath is given a numbered date in the Bible, it always falls on the 8th, the 15th, the 22nd or the 29th of the month.

That is a sin to keep the Sabbath for salvation. It's saying Christs sacrifice on the cross was not enough . Jesus said it is finished. Full atonement for our sins were paid for at the cross. Salvation is a free gift from God. Repent of your sins and ask Jesus to be Lord and Savior of your life It's that simple.

The Ten Commandments can not save us. Only the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. Rev. 12:17 "And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the Commandments of God and have the Testimony of Jesus Christ." 2 John v.6 "This is love, that we walk according to His Commandments." 1 John 5:2-3 "By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His Commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep His Commandments, And His Commandments are not burdensome." 1 John 3:24 "Now he who keeps His Commandments abides in Him, and He in him." 1 John 2:3-4 "Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His Commandments. He who says, 'I know Him', and does not keep His Commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him." There are many more verses attesting to the fact that God's Ten Commandments, that He wrote with His own finger on the tablets of stone, still stand! I am not an Adventist. They are cultic too. I am new to SDA and I enoy observing the Sabbath. No other religions/denominations see the value in observing a Sabbath. Though they attend church on Sundays I never knew it to be a day to observe to God. It was the day you went to church and hurried home to do whatever we wanted.

Pentecost is a Jewish holiday. It is also known as "The feast of Weeks." It is considered a Sabbath. There is the Saturday Sabbath and Sabbaths (high Holy days). God commanded the Israelites to celebrate Pentecost/ Feast of Weeks way back in Exodus 34:22, Lev 23:15-22, Duet 16:16 and 2 Chron. 8:13. It is part of the Fall Feasts.

@@EricSaavy Yeah, an old girlfriend of mine was at least 3rd generation in an SDA family. Her mother practically saw Ellen G. White as a prophetess, even though White called herself a "messenger of God." Well, slap whatever label you want on it, I have lots of reasons for not being Adventist. They believe in a lot of stuff that isn't biblical. But when you're born and raised in a certain theology like she was, it takes a lot to change, and I don't think she ever has.
Something i'd like to ask. If Yeshua is YAHWEH then how could Yahweh die? God is a spirit and not flesh so how can God die? Why does Yeshua pray to the father if he is the Father? I'm not trying to be a wiseguy. I would just love a good answer. I read the Gospels and Yeshua himself states that why are they calling him good? He himself states there is no one man good but only Yahweh. I believe that Yeshuah is the Messiah and that he was anointed as the "sonn" of God and had the anointing and spirit of YAH in him and that he died for the sins of the elect and rose on the third day bnut fully God? That I have to gwt concrete answers based on scripture alone and not doctrine. Doctrine has created generations of christians that profane YAH's sbbath and dietary rules. That to me is not of YAH.
I have put together a teaching addressing Jesus being half God and half man (or the impossible all God and all man). You have pointed out accurate scripture that refutes this error. As Philippians declares, Jesus emptied himself of his deity to become born the Son of God in the flesh. Jesus is the firstborn from the dead, not the first raised. There remains now a Sabbath Keeping..James touts the Royal Law. What I am saying he died to old covenant. he was married to Israel. Now we are married to him through his resurrection. He is our rest from the works of the law. So sad. I knew there was something wrong with his teachings. He's trapped on salvation by works. He has to do, this or that; to be saved. Everthing has to be put under the Law, so there will be no scape. But now, Jesus came to fullfill the Law for us, including shabbath. True believer are free from the Law. Because the Sabbath is important to God, it is important to me. Without trying to recreate the Law, I chose to honor my God by honoring the Sabbath. I do no work or commerce on Sunday. From 6 pm Saturday evening to Sunday evening at 6 pm, I do no housework or yard work, no arts or hobbies or shopping (buying). During this time, beginning Saturday evening, I study my lesson for Sunday school. Sunday, I go to church. Afterwards, I minister to others, and spend the day in ways that honor God by serving others.

It begins at sundown on Friday and ends at sundown on Saturday. Sunday is the first day of the week. Actually, the names of the days of the week are not found in Scripture. God always said, “ the first day of the week”. The days were numbered, not named. When you celebrate the Sabbath is not as important as keeping a day of Sabbath. Some priests had to work on the Sabbath. Some police, nurses, etc have to work on the Sabbath. Christians observe Sunday as the Sabbath day. Honoring the Sabbath as a day of rest and worship is one of the Ten Commandments and should be obeyed.
God made the Sabbath day Holy. Sunday was not made a holy day. We can worship God at anytime, however, we can not make a day holy. We are not "under" the law, when it comes to salvation. The law was given so we would know what sin is. We would never say it is ok to lie, commit murder, etc., because we are saved by grace alone. Ask yourself theses questions
1. Who wrote down Exodus 20:12, Exodus 31:12-18, Exodus 35:1-3, Numbers 31-36, and Deuteronomy 5:1-22?

Key Word is "Join" not commanded. If i join (let say for example the Catholic Church) I am obligated to follow there the rules and doctrines. If I don't join I am not obligated to follow Catholic rules and doctrines.
Do you or anyone you know ever seen the Table of Stone that was written with the finger of God? Did any of the prophets ever read from the Stone Tablets? How would you ever know if the 10 Commandments existed_if Moses did not write them down in the book of the law? Have you ever read Exodus chapter 20? Guess who wrote that?

I am new to SDA and I enoy observing the Sabbath. No other religions/denominations see the value in observing a Sabbath. Though they attend church on Sundays I never knew it to be a day to observe to God. It was the day you went to church and hurried home to do whatever we wanted.

Obviously, Christians love the L-rd, they want to follow Him and are grateful for the favor that G-d has given them in Messiah, but it is this writers opinion that Christendom is wrong about the commandments and their role in the lives of believers. The commandments come after one has been saved by faith (Eph 2:10); Paul's also teaches that we do not nullify, or void the law through our faith, we establish it (Romans 3:31).

+lsavalla Moses is the author of the Torah. Jesus confirms that. What Paul meant by establishing the law is what Jesus meant by fulfilling the law. By not necessarily following the letter but the Spirit of the law, we establish it by our love for God and people like 1 John talks about. You are over mysticizing it.

If you study Ignatius (35ad-108ad) writings, Ignatius was in one of Paul's churches and likely met Paul in person. . Ignatius was against anything Jewish including the Sabbath.

God started the church on a Sunday. God poured out his Holy Spirit on a Sunday. It was called Pentecost.
Pentecost is a Jewish holiday. It is also known as "The feast of Weeks." It is considered a Sabbath. There is the Saturday Sabbath and Sabbaths (high Holy days). God commanded the Israelites to celebrate Pentecost/ Feast of Weeks way back in Exodus 34:22, Lev 23:15-22, Duet 16:16 and 2 Chron. 8:13.
It is part of the Fall Feasts.

It's an issue of who do you worship. Do you worship God or the world? The Sabbath was made holy before any man or Jew was created. The Ten Commandments were written with God's own finger on the Tablets of Stone. Jesus is the same, yesterday, today and forever. God says, "I change not". The Hebrew word for "Daddy" is right in the middle of the Sabbath-"ABBA". Will this be the mark of the beast? The mark is about worship. God seals, or marks, His people with the Sabbath! @@EricSaavy Yeah, an old girlfriend of mine was at least 3rd generation in an SDA family. Her mother practically saw Ellen G. White as a prophetess, even though White called herself a "messenger of God." Well, slap whatever label you want on it, I have lots of reasons for not being Adventist. They believe in a lot of stuff that isn't biblical. But when you're born and raised in a certain theology like she was, it takes a lot to change, and I don't think she ever has.
Something i'd like to ask. If Yeshua is YAHWEH then how could Yahweh die? God is a spirit and not flesh so how can God die? Why does Yeshua pray to the father if he is the Father? I'm not trying to be a wiseguy. I would just love a good answer. I read the Gospels and Yeshua himself states that why are they calling him good? He himself states there is no one man good but only Yahweh. I believe that Yeshuah is the Messiah and that he was anointed as the "sonn" of God and had the anointing and spirit of YAH in him and that he died for the sins of the elect and rose on the third day bnut fully God? That I have to gwt concrete answers based on scripture alone and not doctrine. Doctrine has created generations of christians that profane YAH's sbbath and dietary rules. That to me is not of YAH.
I have put together a teaching addressing Jesus being half God and half man (or the impossible all God and all man). You have pointed out accurate scripture that refutes this error. As Philippians declares, Jesus emptied himself of his deity to become born the Son of God in the flesh. Jesus is the firstborn from the dead, not the first raised. As scripture says, He is the last Adam, a life giving spirit.

Dr. Chuck Missler has a true heart for the Lord. There is a mistranslation in the king james Hebrews 4:9. The greek root is Sabbatizo "To keep. There remains now a Sabbath Keeping..James touts the Royal Law. In John many of the verses that read prayer meetings are realy passover or feasts of weeks, or Sabbath, and in Leviticus 23 They are the Lords sabbaths and these Feasts of Sabbaths are perpetual, Jesus said He was Lord of the Sabbath, he didnt abolish the Law, he came to make them fuller, Heaven and Earth are still here, we must keep the law and keep faith in Christ. Jesus said in Matrhew 5: 19. What I am saying he died to old covenant. he was married to Israel. Now we are married to him through his resurrection. He is our rest from the works of the law. No more sacrificies of animals, where the priest has to go in once a year and do atonement for sins.
We are under a different priesthood that is forever. Not like the one he made with their fathers in the wilderness. We are freed from the law of sin and death.

So sad. I knew there was something wrong with his teachings. He's trapped on salvation by works. He has to do, this or that; to be saved.
Everthing has to be put under the Law, so there will be no scape.
But now, Jesus came to fullfill the Law for us, including shabbath.
True believer are free from the Law. But on the flesh you will be uncapable to understand these things.

Catholicism changed God's Sabbath and nothing that you say will ever, ever justify Sunday worshipping......
In fact, not only do you break God's Sabbath ever week, and never repent of your breaking God's commandments....
But you also show God that your obedience is to Catholicism's Sunday Worshipping....
Thus you insult God, weekly.... .
God does not have to condemn you, you have already condemned yourselves, to Eternity in HELL....
EladKooc One thing I really like about the SDA teaching is that Adam and Eve, were Sabbath keepers (BOTH OF THEM) and they were first people to throw the entire world into sin and darkness! YES! THE FIRST TWO PEOPLE EVER TO FOLLOW SATAN AND *PLUNGE THE WORLD INTO SIN AND DARKNESS* WERE SABBATH KEEPERS ACCORDING TO THE SDA!
*Moreover, the first people to ever follow SATAN,* according to the SDA and Ellen G. White were SABBATH KEEPERS!
Mind you! Apparently the *"seal of salvation"* (Sabbath keeping) AND UTTERLY FAILED! Because, they were *according to Ellen G. White keeping the Sabbath day* didn't save them at all! And, sent themselves and the rest of mankind to suffering, misery, darkness, anguish, torment, sickness death and hell!*
AND THEN……
The FIRST MURDER EVER KNOWN IN THE HISTORY OF MANKIND WAS COMMITTED BY A SABBATH KEEPER *ON HIS OWN BROTHER!* (according to the SDA teachings). The first LIE ever told to God was told by a Sabbath keeper to God!
