Becca, wow; this is gorgeous and I'm so impressed how you have everything in proportion. Your fence is perfectly situated. I just love your work and it was wonderful having the mini tutorial on how you made the cabbage's. It's all just perfect! 🥰 xo
Thank you Barbie! This is such a fun adventure, seeing what comes next and where will it go. I was glad to share the method I used for the cabbages and cauliflower. I enjoy when others share their methods too! 🥰 xx
Hello Becca, so beautiful and creative you are. The best part are the stories in one's head that your wonderful stitching initiates. Always looking forward to a new stitching video of yours. Greetings from Malaysia
Hello Ango, Thank you for your very sweet comment! Stories of little animals were always my favorite as a child, and I so enjoy bringing them to life in stitches and fabric. 🥰
So much beauty in what you have created here - loved hearing you share all the details and seeing them, while I did my own down the garden path stitching. Particularly love the little hedgehog. Cheers, Christine
This is absolutely beautiful. Thank you for your stitching tip, I am going to try that for more cabbages in my, much too literal, down the garden path. I look forward to seeing the next step on your path.
I love how your Garden Path is "growing." I love your teapot home and also how your veggie garden is on the angle with the fence and scarecrow. Your gate and arbor are unique, too. All the TH-camrs involved in this Roxy's Volume 3 are doing a great job, but I have two favorites. Yours is one of them. I look forward to seeing what else you include along your garden path.
Thank you Valerie for such kind comments! They are very much appreciated. It has been lots of fun and I love seeing what everyone else is doing. I’m working on my “tea cup garden shed” right now. ☺️
@Willow Hill Designs Oh, cool! I'm so excited to see how you do it! I have a question for you? Where are you from? I detect a slight accent. I'm in Moline, IL, but I'm from Des Plaines. You sound like someone I know from Downers Grove, IL.
Beautiful, I've only just come across these garden path stitchery, really love them. Love all the detail, the little vegetable plot and fence and of course the mouse.
This is so much fun to watch. I’m sure you can pull off the teacup shed with your artistic talents. Your work is so inspirational! Also, I love when you bring your work up close to the camera.
I love it. I love how you laid out the garden almost 3d! I just went to hobby lobby today to get thread for beets and carrots and several greens and some ribbon to make cabbage and cauliflower. I'm still working on my patch of hollyhocks so I'm behind.
This is an illustration in a wonderful book. My goodness . Your talent just continues to amaze me. What a treasure this will be as an heirloom for your children. . Tell me,. Are the leaves around the fairy cut from material , then stitched around them? Did u use any watercolor pencils on them? Just so wonderful.
Thank you for your sweet compliments Carolyn! It’s always in the back of my mind, making sure I have something special for each of my girls. The leaves are cut from a beautiful Beatrix Potter fabric and are invisible stitched down. I didn’t use my pencils on them, but did use them on my garden soil this time, just to add a little life to that flat beige fabric. I added some back stitching along the center vein of a few of those leaves near the little hedgehog. 😊
Hello, Can anyone explain to me this Roxy’s stitchery projects? How it works and do you have to buy the base printed kit ? I am very much interested in down the garden path project. I love this tea kettle garden with flowers, veggies, everything in this video. My question is the bunnies, fairy, bird and the Haj hog look alike pieces and some greenery , is that individual cut pieces or came with the printed fabric? Thanks a lot.
Hello Jasmine, There is no base printed kit. Each person is making their Down The Garden Path in a way that they prefer. Mine will be a scroll put on a spool. You can make yours in book form, a scroll, a wall hanging. It’s your choice. The tea kettle is my own design, as I wanted it to be a house for the little mouse that lives in the garden. The little animals are all from my own fabric stash, and I have added them with the invisible stitch. I then add embroidery of my choosing to go with the prompt. I hope this helps you in some way. I’ll be making a video soon and can explain more. I hope you join in! Becca 😊

Oh my! Yes! A teacup would be so cute! Maybe with flowers blooming from it or a mouse peeking its head out of it or a birdie perched atop it.
