I GOT PLACED AT ZS as a BOA today. (10-08-2021) I would like to take this moment to THANK YOU for providing us with this quality content. It helped me prepare for on-campus recruitment stage which consisted of 5 rounds. If anyone is interested, feel free to ask your doubts and I’ll be more than happy to answer them and share my own success story! Thank You Once Again!❤️
@@talkonlife4047 If you don’t have much time, I’d advise you to first confirm the rounds that you’ll be going through, then I’d recommend that you practice some frequently asked Guesstimates and puzzles, as they’re asked almost every time. Prepare solid answers for the frequently asked interview questions, so that you can present your best in the interview. Then, if you have time, you can practice some case studies/case interviews from TH-cam and get an idea of the type of questions that are asked during case interviews. Lastly, and to be honest, I’d say that the interview process of firms like these requires strong analytical and communicational skills, so either you have those or you don’t, and if you feel you have that, then you won’t face any major problems throughout the hiring process.
It really worked today was my apti and video based exam for zs and questions were same as you discussed eg the one you discussed number of balls in plane
For the 1st question about paints, don't you think we should multiply the final answer by, say 1.1 to account for the fact that a certain quantity of the paint gets absorbed by the brush and all of it doesn't get on the wall?
That will be minimal quantity because max 1-2 brushes will be used for painting a 10×10 wall and brushes don't absorb paints, rather paints stick on to the surface if brushes due to surface tension and that minimal quantity can't account for 0.1 times the estimated paint.
I got rejected in telephonic round ZS. Here I add question what they asked to me so that you made a vedio and on that to help others 1. There one way road all vehicles are going in one direction but a traffic police is there who is maintain ing the directions of the vehicles but there is a driver who is going in Opposite direction but traffic police is not saying anything to that driver? 2 No. Of men having haircut on Thursday in India? 3 Procductions of chocolate in India

Guys i need some help in DAA there are 2 guesstimates questions in cognitive test we have to write all the points that we have considered and the calculation also ? Or we have to write only numeric value answer ? A guy told me that he wrote the steps as well and got selected for further rounds
Here in the 2nd question you took 70% as the rural population and calculated it for the same. But actually it should be 30% as it is urban. let me know if I'm missing on anything!
@@LifeBeyondBusiness Brother, actually i am preparing for ZS Associates campus placement drive in our college. My interview is on August 20th. Let me know what do they expect in the last round and why people get rejected even after they reach the hr round ?
Hey man Thanks for the video. Just needed your help for following questions: Guesstimate: Revenue of mall. Like a mall in Noida, Delhi Or Calcutta. Footfall of a mall. Like how many people visit the same daily. (On weekends). People buying cricket kit? Though I understand primarily we have to distribute our population let's say 20 M among income basis. So kindoff I get 10 M people who can go to a mall and about 50% of them can go considering the age factor i.e eleminating 0-15 yrs and 70+ people. Post that how to proceed I get around 5 M people. Now ?
Further work upon urban and rural population distribution, a certain percentage exists in the metro cities and the malls are primarily existent in Metro Cities only. Then further work upon the average frequency of a Person visiting malls. Therein, you will have a guesstimate of the total number of people visiting the malls daily, now only a certain percentage of them buy goods, so assume an avg expenditure for each person visiting the mall. You can also approach the game by going for the number of malls in India, and assume an approximate accommodation of each mall for a day.
Hi, I did try the question, but i guess i am getting very less value. " 1. Divided 20 M pop of Delhi into 120 blocks. i.e approx 16k people in a block. (Blocks on the basis of metro stations) Malls aren't in every block, consider 60% of blocks are clubbed into one with a mall in 3 blocks club i.e approx 24 malls in 72 blocks, and 40% of blocks have atleast 2 malls in them, i.e 48 malls. So, total malls 120. 2. Divide people on the basis of their income and age factor, considering about 60% people on the basis of age and 70% on the basis of malls, who can go to malls. I have elimnated people from 0-15 years (now am skeptical about it), 60+ year old people and BPL people. so, i get approx 5k people. Now i divide this how offen does one go, assuming 50% once a week and 50% twice a week, i get about 3.75k visits in a week or a mall, now divide this into weekend (50%) and weekday visit (50 percent), i am getting around 1.9k people visit a mall in Delhi on weekend. If for all malls in Delhi, then it gets to 228k People visit on weekend in Delhi.. For revenue, divide population of per day visit like Visit for eating(approx 20% people, with averagng 400Rs per person), Movies (30% averaging 1200+ food per 4 people family), shopping (30%, 1000 rs per person) and rest for roaming around around (20%). Calculate this, i am getting around 11cr for 120 Malls, a Weekend in Delhi and around 900cr yearly. Error: maybe i should have accounted for Parking tickets (Rs 40 on average) Malls may have been lesser (but google shows 240 malls in delhi) Age distribution may have been better. If possible, @Engineered Learnings can provide some insights.
Yes, quite a good approach! You cannot really reach a correct figure but the least one can try is to come up with a approach logical enough and this approach indeed is applausible.
For Guesstimates, Refer to Some Strategies available online like Population percentages and For Case Study Refer to our video where we have tried to solve a sample Case Study of ZS Associates.
Not really, sometimes it comes within weeks, at times it takes months and at times you might have been rejected. So you never know, just don't expect, but keep up the hope
For the first question, i.e regarding the paint required, could we go with this approach: let us assume a litre of paint can paint a 5*5 wall and therefore since we have a wall of 10*10, 4L of paint will be required.
That is quite a crude assumption, the question itself asks for finding out the amount of paint required for 10x10 wall, how can you assume the answer straightaway 😅
